Was that Gonchar's best ?

Was he hurt ? I posted that he was useless after the loss aginst the Devils on the last Saturday of the regular season.

In no way am I saying 'I told you so', but he was terrible near the end of the year, and terrible in all but the first game of the playoffs.

For crying out loud - for how long have you been watching hockey? Gonchar is a terrific player. Your bashing is getting real old real fast.

?

blame Gonchar? Listen, Bourque ain't coming back, neither is Orr. Gonchar is arguable the best offensive dman in the entire WORLD. He played hard, he played smart. He could have been a little better utilized by the Boston coaching staff, but hey what can you do.

PS I HATE KEVIN PAUL DUPONT

before this series i kept hearing ganchar cant play defence.
which is pure bullsh!*
i thought gonchar was very sound and solid, becuase of his mobility he broke alote of our rushes.
gonchar was a true warrior for you guys.
im very envious of him. he's golden for many years to come.
imho you guys need at least 1 other defencmen as mobile as him.

There was a press report before the trade that he had a bad shoulder.

Gonchar has been BRUTAL the past few games. Vegas probably was offering an over under of 5 on # of pucks that bounced over his stick when trying to keep it in on the blue line. For last night, I do not think it was being tired (as we did not have any power plays for him to spend 2 minutes out there on so that we could give up odd man rushes in the last 30 seconds), but it might be injury.
