Game 7 Tickets?

So I was waiting here on ticketmaster.ca for 12 p.m. to hit so I could buy a couple tickets for my girlfriend since she's a Leaf fan.

Anyway, I clicked almost as soon as the tickets became available (yay high speed internet) clicked "best available tickets any price range" and I got nothing...

Do tickets always go that fast or are there only like 10 tickets available for the general public?

I've been trying this entire series both online and by phone at the same time. Ticketmaster's the worst.

I've never had trouble getting tickets for anything else.

Take this Prince concert for example, I wanted to see if I could get tickets for that and it was easy... but look at what these *******s charge.

First, it's CA $65.75 per ticket plus a CA $1.25 "building facility charge" plus a CA $12.00 "convenience charge" then you have to pay to pick up your tickets or to have them delivered $4-$14.

Talk about nickel and diming people... geez!

If I ever really wanted to listen to Prince I'd go see my doctor immediately because there would be something seriously wrong with me.

I was able to score standing-room seats for Game 1 through Ticketmaster.

It's all luck of the draw. Out of all the people that click right at 12pm, a few might get the short end of the stick. Anyone that tried at 12:01 or later was way too late.

Since most of the ACC is season-ticket holders, there are only a couple of thousand seats available for individual game purchases. Best bet is a scalper, but prepare to be scalped.

I just checked eBay. There's a pair in section 312 up to $430 with 14 hours left. People in this city sure have a lot of money.

My dad managed to get four seats just behind the home-side net and right now it is only my girlfriend and I going so if anyone wants two tickets (right beside me and my girlfriend) PM me. ONLY Leaf fans :p

Oh, the person who PM's me first will get them and you will not have to pay considering I got the tix for free.

I'm currently setting up the place for you to get the tix. Oh and my dad works for a law firm.. the owner got the four seats and his sons couldn't go so he handed them to my dad.

Anyways, I'll write you a PM later on tonight. I have a psych class now =/

Avoid that one ! It's illegal and ebay likely won't approve the transaction.

I'm not bidding on them, $430 is a little too much for me to pay for nose bleeds. I tried my luck with Ticketmaster, but to no avail.

In this particular auction the winner will also receive a vintage card. The seller is saying that if the bids exceed the face value of the tickets, he'll assume the bid is for the card. I wonder if that's enough of a loop hole for him to get away with it.

I almost bought tickets for game 3 at the Corel Centre, but didn't because I wasn't sure if the Leafs and Sens would meet up this round. I'm still kicking myself for buying them.

I was in Ottawa back in February when Toronto came back from a 4 nothing defecit and won in OT. Besides from the Sens fans cornering me and telling I shouldn't have worn my Leafs jersey, I had a great time. The atmosphere in that building was amazing. Much better then at the ACC...probably because we won. But I would definitely recommend going to the Nations capital for a game, it's a blast!

Just wondering, did anywhere here go the Kings-Leafs game 7 at the old Gardens in 1993? That must have been the toughest ticket in the history of Canada. My only visit to MLG was the Bruins' last game there.
