Its taken 3 years and these deals have yet to materialize. I do think we will deal a defenseman at this deadline, but it should have occurred long ago.

Most Pens fans, like myself, think that Klein may be of interest to Ray Shero (Pen's GM). Erik Christensen has been rumored to have been on the trade block for a while because he have a plethora of Centerman. Plus, Shero is very familiar with your farm-team. Maybe a Klein for Christensen type of trade is possible?

I think its quite possible and can benefit both parties.

I don't think it's optimal since (I can't believe I'm saying this) the Preds seem set at center. Perhaps if Poile/Trotz thought he could move to wing or they could move Bonk up to wing (as tried recently) but a natural wing would be better. Is his speed enough to keep up with Legwand and Erat (I thought he was kind of a gangly skater but maybe I'm wrong) and will he shoot-- those two would benefit from a pure sniper joining the line.

I asked this question over on the Pens board. he's BEEN playing wing, and they think that's the problem. they feel that in order to really get going, he needs to move to center--and because of that, I don't think he's the right guy for the Predators.

Unless you see Trotz move Legwand's horrendous FA% to wing?

which would handcuff one of his best assets...his defensive ability.
