what about markus naslund?

I think he could be a good fit for koivu and higgins, his ability to drive the net would create a lot of space for them. Maybe vancouver would have some interests in ryder and they need to add some depth in defense.

Why not Malkin? I mean hes short of the only one not mentioned that could do well with MTL....I see names thrown around every day, from every team "oh he would do well" rofl so funny

naslund will be ufa this summer, and check on the nucks board, they are not against the idea to part whit him. Maybe, MAYBE he would be available and IMO naslund is worth the risk.
