Let's set up some rules, we don't want to be such an embarrassment to hockey do we?

1. When showing displeasure, always wait for the replay on the jumbotron. If after thorough review, the play is deemed to be questionable by a council consisting of 8 unbiased ex-NHL players, the fans may frown and pump their fists in displeasure.

2. When the home team scores a goal, the home crowd must calmly clap in unison, but not so loud as to affect the opposing teams home views. A clap-o-meter should be installed top ensure proper sportsmanship.

when a goal is scored, please refrain from standing up and yelling as this is certain to disturb the other team's supporters sitting around you and some sensitive viewers at home.

in the event that the goal scored is in OT of Game 7 of the SC finals, then please limit your celebration to standing up and clapping politely

thank you for your cooperation

When your team is coming back from 0-5 to 6-5 , please stop yellin for nothing because it may cause some incomfort to the ears of the players. Also , please stop booing for nothing even if this strategy has proved a lot because its *disrespectful*.

Being respectful is WAY more important than winning game , so stop please.

6. No singing or chanting of any kind. Such behaviour is offensive to fans of other teams and considered tacky and rude. Proper etiquette is to refrain from all but the most generic chants, such as "Let's go Team!" and "Go Team go!".

That could be seen as offensive to some of our american viewers:

-Always put a plastic wrapper over each others face, so as to ensure there will be no indecent skin or lip contact.

-Do not show a row of four ****ing gorgeous women.

Never engage in songs that are tradionally sung at European soccer games. They are a) European, and b) sung at soccer games, thus making them inappropriate to sing in North America at hockey games. Or so fans of many other teams seem to think. Regardless, we wouldn't want to offend fans of the opposing team.

10. Boo the other team's top players to let them know you are jealous and are trying to convince them to sign with the Habs during their UFA season

11. If your team loses a game, please do not shout out profinities to express displeasure. Instead, look on the brighter side and think ahead for the next game. Or simply think of the possible moral victories in the game.

13. Add the Habs chick (host of the night) as a friend on Facebook, hence the Habs won the game.
