I would have loved to be in that building when Kovy tied it.
It was unreal. That was one of two times I screamed so loud it hurt- and I still couldn't hear myself. And yet, I knew it was coming. I didn't know who, but at that point, I knew someone was going to tie it.

Aw man, thanks for the mental image. I think I just threw up a little.

We talk about Komo needing to pick his spots... that was a good one. I know we came out in the second and gave up two more before starting The Comeback, but the energy turned after that fight. That was when I started to think, "Could they...?" rather than, "Komo beat up Dubinsky- moral victory!" The only other hockey fight I've seen in person involved Garth Murray and some Bruin, so I was psyched to see a fight in person, but to have Komo fight, and pwn the other guy so completely... I feel like it's my birthday and Christmas at the same time.
(Slightly) OT: Journal de Montreal pic on Kovy tying goal
I skimmed roughly and there is no post about this anywhere I looked, but there's a Journal de Montreal picture showing Kovy on one knee and looking almost like he's praying and in front of him stands Plekanec in an upright position looking at the ceiling with his arms outstretched kinda like Jesus Price on a cross. I thought it was really cool, kind of like an NFL touchdown celebration. Does anyone have the caption? Would look like a cool avatar
YES, thank you. It's in there but at a different perspective, and has an extra player in it which is Kostitsyn trying to "incrust" himself in the celebration. But in the newspaper its taken a moment before when Kov is actually looking down and doesnt have his arms up in a huggy motion lol.
