I know it's a bit off topic, but where are the nice spots (to stay) nearby Queen's?

Beakermania, what is the playing level of the hockey league you play in?

The best two hotels in Kingston are the Four Points Sheraton and the Ambassador Hotel.

Well if you guys want the Brass pub is fine.
Can someone ask if they will show the game and if they have free wireless internet.
If not know of some other places.

For living the conditions vary throughout the student ghetto, some places are good, some places are dumps... the best advice would be to come down for a weekend and take a look at least 10-15 places before renting one.

For Hockey

I play intramural when I'm at Queen's in the Queen's league.... Tier I is pretty good, there are lots of former Junior A, B, C players in that, but there are players who played A and AA too...

Tier II is a big drop off... beer league level stuff....

I prefer Fanatics (same block as the Brass, but at the corner Princess/Barrie)... Brass only has the one big TV and if the habs game isn't on, then we'll be watching it on one of the small tvs there, where Fanatics have lots of good size TVs. Tuesday is half price wings too... Not sure on the internet situation there...

Yes they do, I just phoned them....

By the way, here is their website.
http://www.fanaticssportslounge.com/

I'll wear my Carey Price jersey (Habs Red) tomorrow, and my Hamilton Bulldogs baseball cap so you can recognize me.... I don't know too many people with a Price jersey yet....

Hmm, that's a little older than me, provided that was his last year. Actually, I think that might have been my sisters year. Can't remember if she was a 99 or a 00.

Going to LaSalle is basically the Kingston equivalent of being a Leafs fan. They never win anything.
