Czech goalies for the World Cup?

Any random speculation on the Czech goalies for the upcoming world cup?

My guesses would be:

1) Vokoun- a little shaky lately, but prob. the best, All Star selection to boot
2) Cechmanek- solid numbers, but has yet to really prove self
3) Prusek- underrated backup for Lalime could slide up into 2 spot

Wild cards

Hasek- if he decides to try and come back, he may start off with WC
Turek- hasn't been very good, but who knows?

I also knew of Roman Malek, who is one of the best in the Czech league, but I don't know too much about him. It might be tough adjusting to the the NHL style game for him.

I would bet on Vokoun as a starter, backups probably Cechmanek and Malek. There is a possibility that Cechmanek does not go and Prusek will be taken instead. In my opinio, one of our "eurogoalies" will go.

I pretty much agree, although I'd see Cecho as #1 if he is completely healthy given his resume. Turek has no chance in hell and Hasek should be retired again...If I were Lener, I'd want him to stay out of the picture.

As for the eurogoalie, Malek is suddenly a good bet since he's played so well in Plzen, but Salficky will get consideration.

Still, Martin Vojtek should go...he's the best

No he doesnīt (as about Wolrd Championship), we have plenty (10-20?) better (older) goalies right now in NHL, Extraliga and Russian Superliga.
In the draft I personaly think he would go in 2nd round.

Really? Alot of people have Marek Schwarz as a top-10 talent and possibly the best goalie in the draft.

why do you think he is going to be a 2nd rounder? Give us the 411.

411 ? What is this ?
I saw Marek a few times playing for Sparta and Trinec and he didnīt seem to me so good to take him in first round.
It is true, that I do not know the situation of all teams and I donīt know, how desperadly they need a goalie, but this is my personal opinion.

I have seen him playing several times thus I can say that this guy is really good. Very agile and fast, reads the play very well, he is sure the most talented Czech goalie since, since, well since a long time.

No Turek on WC. Vokoun will be starter, Cechmanek #2 and Salficky or Briza will go third.
