OT:Warrior Equipment

Bought a pair of Warrior gloves today, the dolomite model. I have to say they are the most comfortable gloves that I've ever put on my hands and they're not even broken in yet. I've also heard good things about their sticks. Anyone else use any Warrior gear?

I heard that Kovalev is the owner of the company, or Part owner maybe... Can anyone confirm that?

part owner. (actionnaire in french). I don't know which one is the dolomite model but I like the "claw" one (edit: McDaddy). And they are comfortables. But the Nike/Bauer XXX are the most comfortable gloves IMO...

I've got a Dolomite shaft/blade combo, 75 flex with Kovalev pattern blade. Love it. I had some Innovative sticks before so a switch to Warrior wasn't a big change. I haven't been able to compare it to many other sticks but I'd say it's a good one, I'd buy more.

And I'd heard the gloves were very comfortable. Not been able to try them myself but I'd heard good things about the lack of break in period.

Warrior are one of the brands I like to keep track of and would always check out what they have to offer before buying new kit.

I used to wear the vapour gloves too. I actually find that they are very comparable to the warriors, they way they kind of mold to your hand but with a looser feel. They are great though can't wait to test em out when i play later tonight.

Are any of the other part owners players as well?

I'm actually looking to buy a Dolomite shaft prostock with polarfibre finish. I've found some good deals on the internet, but I currently don't play enough to justify this purchase.

The Dolomite shaft/wood blade is supposed to be an awesome combo.

I have an ak27 with a kovalev blade.

I have a dolomite bag and dolomite gloves.

Once the Franchise gloves come out i will get those.(The gloves the kostitsyns wear). Also when their new pants are released i will get a pair of those.

I love warrior gear, its so flashy and comfortable.

My g/f just bought the Warrior Royale gloves (now the Haymakers), and they are some of the most comfortable sub $150 gloves I have ever tried on! She got them for the low low price $64.99!

My bro also has the Warrior AK27 with the Kovalev blade, and he does snipe with it.

I have a dolomlite one piece and love it. You can get really good deals on the internet from websites like hockeymonkey and hockeygiant. The only thing is they are pro stock which means they don't have a warranty on them. Saying that I've had mine for over a year now and play once or twice a week.

Pretty much any major hockey store should have them

I use the AK27 with Kovalev blade and I love it. Although the blades are somewhat hard to find once you break a couple

Im also looking forward to the Franchise and one of the other gloves I think it might be the Dangler? anyway should be out some time in mid to late March

Yea I had a pro stock vapor thirty, one with purplish blue x's on it I've never seen in any sports store. It had a USA flag on it too. Unfortunately it broke and I wasn't able to get a new one, but I had only paid 80 $ for it anyways so it wasn't as bad. I now have a synergy but I'll probably get the kronik warrior next and give their sticks a try.

I really like the gloves too now that I've played with them, I would recommend trying them out if your looking to buy a new pair.

I bought the Franchise gloves a couple of days ago. Real nice gloves. Super comfortable and lightweight. I tried on everything they had at my store, and these were by far the nicest gloves they had.

I have zebra ball hockey gloves; they look nothing like the aforementioned animal.

The Nike Bauer NBH Pro 4 are great gloves. Komi, Higgins, Georges, Bouillon and Latendresse wear them. Great value for your dollar.

I wouldn't really call 119$ retail for gloves value.

I agree, I bought myself a pair for christmas. I'm pretty sure they are one of the only pair of gloves you can buy in store that are the same as the pros wear. They have that soft leather in the palm that are in all pro stock gloves but are very rarely found in store. As for Warrior equipment I had a Dolomlite last year but broke it my last game of the season. In the summer I got a good deal on a Reebok 7k sickick and there is absolutely no comparison between that and the warrior. It's no wonder a lot of guys are switching to warrior sticks even though they have equipment deals with other companies. I've seen Phaneuf, a reebok guy, with a warrior, Rick Nash, a Louisville guy, with a warrior, and Lecalvier, a CCM guy, with a warrior in the past little bit.
