Trading down wouldn't be the worst thing we could do. It would definately give us some depth with our prospects. I don't know if we would want to go that far down though.

It's actually not bad...

Bickell is iffy but he could be good, Hedman could be a steal, and Wheeler is a home town guy everyone wants. He most likely will be gone at the 42nd pick...

Wheeler at 33? I bet Wheeler's available after 50, for sure.

Rostislav Olesz + 3rd round pick does not come close to Malkin . . . maybe in some drafts 2 to 4 for a third round pick is a possibility, it is only two spots, but in this draft that is a chasm . . .

how about chicago's pick (third) and a second rounder for the Cap's pick and AO? . . . that is about what you are predicting.

Well I know that Penguins would have to get something back from Columbus, but I think Pittsburgh has other problems too...And it could be a sly why of getting out of some uhh well bonuses on contract...

I also think Olesz is a bit...well, underrated, but it would be Olesz + a 3rd + something...

Oh and ceber, I know Blake is 6'4", 195 lbs...and can only grow, I see it kind of like the Irmen trade.

I'd almost rather have Wes O'Neil at 12 than the other two picks. And i think Wheeler will go in the 30-50 range. To big to pass. And the last guy, i think taken high from a MN HS was Paul Martin.

Four Swedes in the first round? That doesn't happen very often, and I don't think it will happen this year either. Not saying that the mentioned players doesn't have first round potential..

Bolland and Voloshenko are too low IMO.

We're going to give up a little bit to actually secure Wheeler, kind of like Irmen. Irmen IMO was taken a little bit too prematurely, I bet for anything it was to get Redenbauch but I think we jumped the gun a bit...I think we end up doing the same thing with Wheeler, jump the gun a bit and move up to grab him to make sure we grab him.

I disagree with Ovechkin. You have him way too high! If anything, I'd expect him to be there for the Wild's 2nd round pick. Washington would be so stupid if they took him 1st overall. I'm laughing just thinking about it...
