Kovalev and PPG record

Was just looking at Habs record on Wikipedia and noticed most records were at least 20 years old and probably won't get erased anytime soon except this one:

Most Powerplay goals in a season: Yvan Cournoyer, 20 (1966-67)

Kovalev has 16 so far this year... think he can beat it?

4 PP goals (to tie, 5 to beat) in 18 games? Why the hell not?

Anyone think he has a shot at 11 powerplay points in the remaining games? I doubt it but I think it would be amazing if he had as many PP points as he did total points all last year lol

Yes, and so can a few others. How would you like to see Knuble break Cournoyer's record, much less Ovechkin?

I'm talking about Canadiens players; the NHL record is 34 by Time Kerr.

Haha so desperate, read more carefully.

He certainly has a chance at setting that record, I am curious if he will be rested later in the season but I suppose it depends on our seeding in the playoffs, I dont want to play NJ or Pits at this point.

If that means Ovechkin on the Habs, where do I sign?
