If it was illegal, why didn't the NHL give the dirty Russian a phone call? If it was illegal, why isn't the the hit being discussed by the media?

Looking at just the replay, you don't get the context of the game. Were there a lot of cheap shots during the game? If so, I can see Malkin getting double secret probation just to set an example. It wasn't that bad of a hit. A bit high. Sure. But nothing atrocious.

Why are people so angry? Move on. This is one case where the players should handle it within reason ... if they even have a problem.

The only elbow thrown in that game was Trouba's...

Just like Malkins. So what's the issue?

So it's cool if other teams aimed their elbows at Jets players' heads all game and everyone can just "hope" they miss domes and chins by inches?

Sounds like a good plan.

What could possibly go wrong playing wreckless hockey like that?

I'm glad I have tickets to the rematch in Winnipeg.
You must like watching your team lose on a regular basis.

Shoulder to upper chest means it's an elbow?

Actually Cole(maybe Doumolin) threw an elbow to Petan after the whistle.

Incorrect. Malkin left his feet and got mainly head. He picked his spot. Jets were just playing hard and physical and Malkin resorted to crossing the line.

If that was the case, the league or the media would be talking about it.

What a hysterical reaction. Tell me, did "they" leave off Iginla because his legal name is too long, or Jumbo Joe because his beard smells?

I give credit to you for fighting for this crazy narrative all on your own, but its really out there.

Looks more like delusional Jets fans making excuses for their team playing dirty.

Malkin abused the Jets and then setup the winning goal on a beautiful play. Pens fans don't have much reason to be mad.

I'm just saying, when you're borderline top 100 like Malkin, maybe stuff like this can swing you in the wrong direction. That's all.

Because it was Wheeler on the receiving end. A hit like that on Crosby crashes HF, and is already on its fifth thread.

No hearing for Malkin on the hit - I don't think there is anything further to discuss on this issue.
