I don't know if you guys buy toys, but....

I've been a regular poster at McFarlane's website for the past 6 years (same name as here). Over there I am the resident keeper of the Orange and Black Faith, a Priest of Cannonism if you will....

Yesterday McFarlane released pics of the NHL 19 series, due out in stores this August.

I give you Mr. Bernard Marcel Parent

I figured I could use this post as my un-official official introduction.

I've been a registered member here for a time after lurking for longer.

My name is Ryan and I am a 26 year old High School teacher. I became a Flyers fan instantly upon entering the Spectrum for my first NHL game as a child... I hope to be more active on this board.

As a side note, being that I lurk here and post more often at the McFarlane site, I have at times copied and pasted pics (mostly stuff from the photoshop thread that left me laughing) over there. I've never claimed those pics were my own, but if that pasting upsets any of the members here that worked hard to make the pics I will take them down at McFarlane immediately.

High School teacher? I recommend a .357 with a 4 inch barrel and loaded with hollow points. It's accurate and powerful. Of course, you may also want to invest in some kind of body armor.

Awesome! Maybe over time I can create the LCB line and have Moose Dupont, Joe Watson and Bernie. Perfect addition to my Clarke, Gagne and LeClair McFarlanes. Hopefully a Hextall at some point... those lame "Starting Line-Up" figures of the 90's didn't cut-it.

Since they have been making the legends of hockey series I have been chomping at the bit for a Ron Hextall.

McFarlane's Flyers line-up is....

Brian Boucher & Eric Lindros - NHLPA Series 2 (prior to getting the official team licenses, McFarlane produced two series of figures without team logos, so for Boucher and Lindros everything on the Flyers jersey is correct, with the exception of the NHLPA logo in team colors in place of the Flyers logo)

John LeClair - NHL Series 1 (2001)

Jeremy Roenick - NHL Series 4 (2003)

Roenick was also released in the Black Jersey in lesser numbers

Jeremy Roenick vs Marty Turco Box Set (2003)

Peter Forsberg - NHL Series 12 (2006)

Forsberg was also released in the White Jersey in lesser numbers

Bobby Clarke - NHL Legends Series 4 (2006)

Clarke was also released in the Orange jersey in lesser numbers

Simon Gagne - NHL Series 16 (2007)

Gagne was also released in the Black jersey in lesser numbers

Bernie Parent - NHL Series 19 (2008)

Daniel Briere - NHL Series 20 (2008)
(no pic released yet)

McFarlane also released Roenick and Forsberg in 3 inch scale...

Jeremy Roenick/Brett Hull 3 inch Two-Pack (2004)

Peter Forsberg 3 inch (2005)

I got Boucher and it's still in my parent's garage... I'd like a Hexy too

My kids started me collecting these. I'll make space on my shelf for Parent!

I have the Forsberg (black jersey), Gagne (white jersey) and the classic Clarke. Not bad from a Sabres fan and a Debbies fan... I think it hurts them to buy these.

Welcome aboard Ryan!

Has anyone ever seen any of the custom painted ones on eBay? I've seena few Hextall's on there that looked pretty sweet and sold for around $75. Someone has a lot of time on their hands to re-paint those things! Sometimes they re-do the packaging and everything. I've also seen some custom Pelle Lindbergh stuff on eBay that was sweet.
