Nikolaj Ehlers is not a Selke candidate yet, but...

Nikolaj Ehlers seems to have improved his defensive game this season. Watched Jets's game against Wild on Sunday and saw a couple of great actions by Ehlers in the defensive zone.

"Certainly not a Selke level just yet, but he's trending in the right direction," Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun said.

What's your impression? Has his defensive game improved?

He will never be a Selke candidate...

Sure he has gotten better but he is still below average at defending.

He still floats a bit too much for my liking. I'm hoping next year we can start to use him on the PK. His speed would serve him well and he'd be so much more dangerous on the counter attack. Compared to Lowry and Armia anyway.

While I guess we can't get much worse on PK I just can't imagine Ehls on PK. He still has a tendency to look lost when he doesn't have the puck. His speed would be awesome but i fear everything else wouldn't be
