I watched the second and the third and Scherbak was not impressive at all...

Indeed, a very good first and pretty meh for the rest of the game.. I will wait more than 1 period to comment on the guy the next time.

DLR on the other side has been extremmely solid all game long.

Edit: 3 stars were 1st Lindgren 2nd Grégoire 3rd DLR

Ice Caps shut out the Rochester Americans tonight 2-0. Lindgren blanks them while Hudon scored his 23rd goal from Keegan Lowe and Josiah Didier while Terry scored his 24th with assists from Scherbak and Hanley.

They next play against Philly's farm team Leigh Valley Phantoms on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I know Hudon once played center. Maybe we need to put him at center while at SJ and learn the position. We need him to play center on our team.

They tried him at centre in the AHL. It didn't work.

Let him be, what he's gonna be. A Left winger.

Which sadly does not mean anything for the NHL.

Nice to see both Lindgren and Fucale get SO and both sit at 4 for the season and both are over 20 wins now at 21 and 25 a piece.

I vaguely remember him getting a call up game with the Habs in like, 1996 or 1997, which tells you all you need to know . He HAS to be in his mid forties by now.

St. John's beating Lehigh Valley 3-0 and it's in the middle of the 2nd.

MacMillan with assists from Farham and Friberg.
Gregoire with assists from Johnston and MacMillan.
De La Rose with an assist from Hanley on a shorthanded goal.

DLR seems to be playing great lately!

I still think this kid can be useful in a bottom 6 role in the NHL.

I think so too. I am not the type rushing to quit on a prospect because he's played 2 or 3 seasons in the minors.

In DLR's case, he's 21 now and will be 22 next month. That doesn't tell me he's done if he hasn't cracked the NHL line-up by now. Even if it takes him another year in the AHL before becoming a full-time NHL'er, he'll be 24. He'll still be young enough to have a long career and help out the Habs for years to come.

4-1 now. They are in their 2nd intermission.

Caps allowed Lehigh Valley to get back into the game. It's 4-3 now.

Way to go Ice Caps for blowing a 4-0 lead heading into the third. They lost 5-4 in OT.
