I like Craig Smith's hussle. Just feel sorry for him that he can't seem to get rewarded for his hard work w/ a goal. At least he seems to help the team out and got an assist.

Dude is absolutely snakebit. That was an excellent shot on the breakaway. Mike Smith got it with his toenail. Same exact thing happened with Jonathan Quick.

Smith does bring speed to the team. He may not have scored but his speed gave us the chance. Good play to get it to Ellis for the score. Rinne is playing pretty well and defense is doing a good job in front of him as well. Keep playing the same way and we win this.

There are many players in the NHL who hustle. However when you pay a player the amount of money the Preds pay Smith you expect him to score. We can get at least 3 players who hustle for the amount we pay Smith.

True but right now he is better than PA Parenteau at least who looked horrible that last game. I'll take Smith over PA Parenteau if Parenteau is going to play like he did the last game. At least Smith has the speed and does the little things like forchecking and being aggressive especially along the boards to get and keep the puck in the opponent's end and help create scoring chances. Smith may not be able to score but if he can help the team to win games vs other players on our team who can't, I would keep him in until we can find someone who can do both (score and win us games).

Still at the office; bummed I can't watch, but happy with 2-0 lead into the third and LA also losing 2-0.

Since Smith can't seem to score but is good at getting the puck in the offense zone and keeping it in there, we should just make Smith be our playmaker/passer guy until he can get his scoring touch back.
