Interesting. Sort of. What happens when Connor makes the team next year? Which looks like a better matched line, Connor - Petan - Armia or Connor - Lowry - Armia? Do we stick with MLA as 3rd line and have a 4th line of Connor - Petan - Dano? That is certainly unconventional. That 4th line might be a 2nd line on some teams.

JMO but I think CPD could be a very good 3rd line that can score. MLA might be the best 4th line in the league.

At some point Connor probably moves up to 2nd line and MP drops down to 3rd. In 3-4 years we have;
Ehlers - Scheifele - Laine
Connor - Roslovic - Little
Perreault - Petan - Dano
Lemieux - Lowry - Armia
Idu Know - Idon Tkare
Or some variation on that.

I heard it too. I think, at least I hope, that it was part of the discussion they were having immediately before about Little and what to do with him after next year. I can't believe it was about Stuart.

For a guy with a career in talking...Toth doesn't really talk good. He just isn't very proficient at putting his thoughts into coherent sentences. They were discussing Yost's "most disappointing team in the NHL" article this morning and he spent like 5 minutes asking his cohorts "if the claim was that the Jets are one of instead of the most disappointing teams would it make more sense to you?" He just rambled on for ages trying to verbalize this simple premise...and about 60% of his rambling consists of "and I get that" or "and I find it interesting because" or "and I harken back to..."

One of these forwards will likely be gone in the expansion draft... Lowry, Perreault, Dano or Armia.

No. That's even beyond Toth-like.

He's delusional, but I'll listen to him ramble over Ty in La Broquerie or Ron in North Kildonan any day.

Lawless wants Fleury bad, because he won playoff games before.

MAF wouldn't be a bad choice depending on the price.

Even in a down year this year he's at an ok .911. 4 years prior he's been at:
.921
.920
.916
.915

So it looks like at worst you'd be getting a league average starter and at best a .920 starter which is above league average by a decent amount. That is barring him significantly decling the next few years.

Cosmic Bob calls are the best part of the morning show.

He would be the best goalie this franchise ever had. Not a bad idea at all. He could be had for little as well.

For a sport like golf that is in decline, it boggles my mind how much they talk about it. And how quickly I change the station.

Well,at least they always give out a warning. " ...and after the break we are going to talk a little golf wi" and then I click to another station. I love audio control on my steering wheel.

Apologies to those who are fans of MMA, but I also switch it off when Hustler gets into UFC

It's funny how Rick Ralph can talk down his nose at fans anytime they complain e.g. Laine's PP useage. Then in the next sentence start lobbying for a VP of Hockey Ops because Chipman isn't hockey guy. Like He doesn't know how long Chipman has been involved in pro hockey.

Ricky deals with a lot of ridiculous **** on the post games. I never really find him talking down to people but eventually he will give his frank opinion to people.

Quite frankly I'm impressed with his poise. Could you imagine that job?

He likes the oddballs, but certainly talks down to fans. Found it odd to hear him defending Maurice today and acquiesceing the PP usage jibberish. This idea that you can't use Laine on the left because the PK will overload that side is ridiculous. That's almost best case scenario for our PP.

Anyone else notice that we haven't had a "Coaches Summit" yet this year? I find that odd. Maybe Lawless and Hus know that they can't fire the softballs at Mo this year so they aren't having one. Or maybe TNSE isn't making Mo available. If thats the case then the secrecy and controlling that comes from TNSE is pathetic.

Coaching deficiencies are this team's most concerning gap, on par with goaltending. I am continually perplexed that they don't get this. They either have to be remarkably stupid or are afraid of some sort of backlash by TNSE.
