It does. But how many Egg Druids do you see on ladder compared to Jade Druid or Aviana/Kun Druid? Which, if you kept 3 AoE in your opening hand against those decks, you're ****ed.

So it was a poor play on his part that was rewarded because I happened to be playing the very niche archetype that was punished by his misplay.

And that's what makes it so frustrating.

I just had the craziest play in wild... Was playing Paladin vs another Paladin. It was pretty even for a while, but he stole one of my secrets which really screwed me over.

He stole Avenger, and he had a bunch of big bodies on his board and I couldn't kill any of them because I didn't have anything to answer the buffed minion it would create.

Anything I put out there he was able to kill without losing any of his minions, but at least it didn't trigger Avenger. I had 2 Anyfins but only Old Murkeye died. I put out Murloc Warleader even though no Murlocs were on the board, and of course he killed it immediately.

Then I played Anyfin and the Warleader and Old Murkeye came back. I was able to trigger Avenger at this point and sacrificed Murkeye to kill the buffed minion. He killed the Warleader and the rest of my board and played Guardian of Kings to heal for 6.

I had an empty board at this point, he had a huge board, 22 health, and it looked like I was dead... He did his "Well Played" thing thinking he had it... But I played my 2nd Anyfin... Three Murloc Warleaders and 2 Old Murkeye's with 12/7 and Charge... "Well Played"

...None of those cards are remotely close to broken.

The Priest card is essentially a slower Swashburgler. It does take a card from their deck instead of a random one from their class, so it's better in that regard, but it's a Deathrattle, so it's a worse late-game draw.

The Paladin legendary is a worse Eadric, which never sees play anyway. Easy decision to dust him if you pull it.

The Warlock legendary could be OK, but it all depends on how Discolock fares in the new meta. At the very least, it's a slightly better Silverware Golem...

sorry was only referring to the first card

I really hate 1 Mana minions that create card advantage and give information.

especially ones that ramp powerful quests

Would you prefer 1-mana 1/3s that grow exponentially, like Mana Wyrm and Tunnel Trogg?

When I saw it I actually got super angry because for a second I thought it was another 4 mana 7/7 with no overload and crazy good effects...

Tried Arena for the first time since the change. Still not sure why people play it. Had 2 runs, one went 4-3, the other 3-3.

Every loss had me facing decks with a much higher card quality than what I was offered. Felt like I simply wasted gold trying to compete with them.

The effect is comparable to Eadric but the card itself really isn't. Eadric doesn't guarantee at least 2 trades. And with an empty board on turn 8 it buffs a dude.

I think the card is better than Eadric and might actually see some play, but it will depend how fast the meta is. It definitely counters jades tho, which is a good start.

I love it, but you can definitely get some terrible decks. Sometimes depends on what class you play too.

From the other point of view, I don't get why everyone loves constructed, especially right now. Same decks over and over. It really depends on what type of strategy you enjoy - mastering one particular deck (or a couple), or competing with something different every time. I love the unexpected nature of arena. It's just a lot more satisfying to me.

Buffing your own Silver Hands can also be a pretty decent benefit. I think it has potential, but yeah, it depends on the speed of the meta and whether Paladin actually gets some decent cards.

It's why I decided to try Arena in the first place. Got tired of facing Pirate Warrior and Jade Druid. So I switched to Arena, only to find a serious balancing issue.

Now I'm memeing it up in Wild with Burgle Rogue

Go play Wild. It's freaking awesome. I started yesterday and went from 25 to 15, not one single Pirate or Jade deck. Not one.

Wait til you get to 10. From 5 up it's 95% pirates.

I only play ranked until 15 to get a golden rare and then just play casual from there with fun decks. It's the only way I can consistently have fun in Hearthstone.

Agreed about arena though, I go about the same and my losses are usually against players who seem to have just been offered much better cards than myself. I just use the gold for packs and call it a day. Although, I've been saving gold for a while now. I'm at 2800~ gold so I'll have a good amount of packs for the next expansion when it comes out.

I'm floating at the 10 spot in wild

there's enough dragon priests, secret hunters, renolocks, renomages, and jade shamans to make mill rogue viable, although it's a guaranteed loss against pirate warrior and jade druid

Why not? 10 is easily achievable and 5 is just a bit of a grind.

Also, this is apparently the Paladin legendary quest reward:

5 mana, 5/5, Beast - Adapt 5 times.
