I am Flyers fan far from Calgary. However, I have always been a huge fan of Mikka Kiprusoff. I recently came across skits from fan960.com where a man named Mike Richards (with the name "Mike Richards" he is already the man) supposedly calls Mikka.
I just wanted to know if these calls are real and if that is really Kipper on the other end of the phone. If so Mikka has to be one of the funniest players in the NHL
after listening to more "interviews" I realized that it wasn't kipper. Still who is impersonating him? These are some of the funniest thigns I've ever heard
It's not Miikka. He is reserved and would certainly never see to the public those sorts of things. Mike Richards and his buddy Doug Kirkwood do the impressions and do a good job. Mike Richards' Miikka sounds a lot like Steve Armitedge to me.
My favourite skits are Tom Hicks, Jeff Garcia, Dutchie and Don.
I read in a finnish sportsmagazine about two years ago, that Kipper usually don't answer to his phonecalls.
Guess he don't have the sounds on in his phone, so it's nearly impossible to talk to him at phone.
Ville Nieminen told some funny things about Miikka and I guess it's his way to amuse himself.
Don't know if he has changed, but knowing something about the goalies and their weird habits, I guess he just wants to get more time to relax and to keep the pressure out of his shoulders.
