WHL: Sunday, Mar. 9 - Lethbridge at Calgary, Sportsnet

Sunday, Mar. 9 - Lethbridge Hurricanes at Calgary Hitmen, Sportsnet,

Sportsnet East/Ont/West/Pac 7:00 PM ET (5:00 PM MT, 4:00 PM PT)

#25 Ryan White (White jersey)

I know the Habs's game is at 8:00 PM but I'm pretty sure a couple of you would do like me and either watch it until 8 and switch to Habs (and probably tape the rest) or taping it all and watch it later...

Calgary's roster
Lethbridge's roster
(for numbers)

For the upcoming draft:

Lethbridge:

Zack Boychuk - C
Luca Sbisa - D

Calgary:

Michael Stone - D
Ian Schultz - RW (slow but possible enforcer, late rounds???)

I personally appreciate that you posted this.... I didn't know about it, and I'm gonna watch the game.... will watch the CHL game on one TV, the Habs/ducks on the other....

I just really didn't have anything to add to the post cause i don't usually get to see much of the WHL teams/games.

Tuesday I'm gonna go check out John Tavares vs Kingston... gonna get my first look at the new Kingston rink too. I know I'll miss the NJ game, but its not playoffs yet and I can't pass up the chance to see Tavares live.

White with a real nice shift there... won his battle along the boards, made a nifty pass, and nearly had an assist.

Sbisa looks pretty good. Strong skating, good puck possesion and smart plays all around.

You're just reading my mind....

Makes me think of Niemi. Underrated offensive d-men coming your way. Will wait though to see more of him....though Habs game coming soon...can't do it all...

He's really adapting to the North American style. Should do well in the pros in 3 or 4 years.

You must have been watching a bad angle bc imo Schultz isn't slow, actually the commentators just mentioned how well he skates for a big guy....

Weren't they talking about Dwight King? I was flipping the channels when they were saying how King is fast for a big guy....

Anyway, compared to the others and the shifts I saw him play, he was slow as hell. If he isn't, well grab the guy, 'cause he's tough as nails.

They also talked about Schultz being ok for speed considering his size. He is so tough, maybe the best new heavyweight this season, those upper cuts he throws are going to badly hurt some unsuspecting combatant.
Back to King, when he works hard and keeps his feet moving he's a menace out there....

Can Schultz be this year's Lucic? Shouldn't we keep an eye on the guy?
