Another huge game, as will be all games from here on out.

All kinds of streaks in this game:

San Jose are going for their 10th straight victory. In doing so, they would sweep the Predators this season.

The Predators are looking to avoid losing their 3rd straight at home.

A fast start is very important for Nashville. San Jose is oozing with confidence and with their play against us the last few seasons (and post-seasons), they have every right to be.

It will be interesting to see who gets matched up against Thornton tonight.

Oh great when is the last time we played good in front of full house

We have to start winning, I think we have to win ALL our home games if we are to make it in.

Really, sell outs have been bad omens. But tonight that all changes!

Rad scores three goals
I eat three free chicken tenders
Ellis stops 32 shots
I yell "Thornton, you suck" 32 times

So is your guys' radio feed just the audio from your TV feed?

not too mention that not every game is on TV. we just got through a long stretch w/radio only. i always think of pete and terry as radio guys, who also do our TV on occasions.

It would be nice if they would actually describe the play happening for the people listening on radio.

Haha, why is this the stoner edition? Because it is 311 day?

I thought Legwand had to play for stoner edition-- did the DUI change that? I have that pit in my gut feeling like before the Dallas game, the one that says we don't have a chance and just need to avoid getting humiliated. Or it could be the Krispy Kremes that I ate this morning playing tricks on me.

I think the Preds need to go at least 7-5 over the remaining games to have any hope. Probably more like 8-4. Realistically, I think we need at least one and likely two victories in the 4 Shark/Wing games remaining.

We have everything going against us tonight: Long Shark streak, 1st game back from road trip, full house, Legwand out. Pulling one out of the...... hat ....... would be big. Huge. Good Luck Preds

311 Huh? That's the police code for indecent exposure.

420 is stoner day.

yes 420 is the police code for possesion and 311 is a band.

however tonights game is made for stoners. our buds hail from the state of medical marijuana. granted cali is not the only state to legalize medical ganja, but by far the most zealous with the pot shops. i do think that the bay area would qualify as THC central. granted more frisco, but this is as close as the NHL gets. combine with the fact that it is free munchies at the game tonight. nothing better after smoking a bowl than to start carb loading.

alright Nashville, you got your win off of Dallas last week so pay us back and beat the Sharks tonight. They've been winning alot of games in OT / Shootout so I think your best bet is to get it done in regulation ;D

In typical fashion, the officials blow a call (Nichol getting interfered with on the PK), and the Sharks score IMMEDIATELY following....unbelievable how this happens.

Two instances of interference on that play, at least one of which should have drawn a penalty, get ignored, therefore the almighty sharks can crash at the other end and push one thru. You cannot tell me the ref could see that puck thru that whole scrum. No way.

What is up with Nabokov getting away with using his stick like that on Tootoo??

Come on refs when the Sharks player's stick is in the face of a Nashville player it's not a penalty on the Predators or when the Goalie BUTT-ENDS (an automatic 5 min major) a forward that is also a penalty. It is not a penalty when the wind off of a Predator player blows over a Shark player. Please CALL A FREAKING DIVE

79 powerplays for San Jose and 0 For Nashville

This is a joke

Apparently, goalies are on a rampage lately, with Kipprusoff flipping a puck in a Blues player's face and now the butt-ending by Nabokov.
