We really do have some soft fans. Chicago fans are right about that. Fans of other teams would not roll over and take it like Pred fans do. These 25 year old millionaire hockey players are not afraid of any other 25 year old millionaire hockey players I can guarantee you that. They are all under the impression they are the best player in the league.

Again, the West is a mess this year unlike the East. The Caps and the Pens have been clear favorites since September. No one could've predicted what happened in the West, the Wild being so good, the Sharks choking near the end, the Blues having a goalie crisis, the Stars being so horrible, the Oil rising so quickly and us being so average. The Ducks are always slow-starters but now they've gotten their **** together and looks like they'll steamroll in the playoffs but no one knows.

One great stretch won the Hawks the conference and they look vulnarable.

Maybe not but the conference was a lot less top heavy than in years past.

Guess we should just forfeit if we get Chicago to avoid the embarrassment?

I just don't see us advancing against Chicago period. Chicago is just too strong of a team and now with the Penguins injuries, I think they are a stronger team than Pitt currently. It will be nice to see 2 more home games, but that's all I think we get.

We took Chicago to 6 games with Ribeiro as our #1 C and Weber missing 4+ games and Fisher missing a couple as well. Now we might get swept against Chicago this year, we also might win the series. Who knows? It's ridiculous to say we have no chance against them though.

I have ZERO understanding why someone would watch something like a sporting event when they are convinced of the outcome beforehand, much less align themselves with the team they are convinced will be on the losing side of the contest.

Naa I kept it on. I just stopped paying attention for a while. Hockey's supposed to be entertaining, so when this team begins to push my buttons I focus on something else.

I didn't see the first--had visitors. I checked the score once and it was 2-0 Yay, then after they left checked again and it was 5-0. Texted PF98 to tell ask her if she was keeping up and Absey texted me around the same time to ask if I was watching. So I turned it on...and it had just become 5-1. Boo. Kept it on til it became 5-3 and then Abs said he was out of there, and PF said she was going to turn it off, too, but instead of turning it off I just muted it. We started doing okay again. So...no sound = a win and no Stu. Not a bad exchange.
