How is your stadium's ice?

I live in Halifax, but I am in St. John's to see family and on work assignments.

When I do play, I play at Mile One Stadium in downtown St. John's;

Really good ice, hardly any chips; but it is so hot because of the propane heaters above the ice.

Saturday's I play in a barn that has very good ice and on Sunday's I just play in a barn. Tuesday's and Friday's I help out at a hockey camp on an olympic size rink and it's great.

The rink I play at is real bad. I live in Southern California so I don't know if that has a lot to do with it. There is a rink about 35 minutes north of where I live and the ice is much better there.

My home rink is olympic ice. And its not very good.

The building is huge. You could seriously fit thousands in it.

The place doesn't get much business so the own skimps out on keeping it cold enough and relys alot of outside temp. The corners are bad, and in the fall when it's first laid down there are alot of bare spots. Can't complain tho.

The Hallenborg is good, that's where I played my HS hockey and currently play Sunday nights.

The old Tully Forum is where I play Tuesdays. It's in my town on the border but the town right over owns it and they keep it in terrible shape. The lockerrooms are horrid and on the rink the puck can actually slide under the zamboni door.
