Always my favourite. Probably not the most skilled.

No love for Denis Savard vs the Oilers?

You'll never find video of it, but I remember his rookie year Datsyuk putting a series of moves behind the net where he deked Adam Foote out of his jock 3 times. Scotty Bowman even told him when he got back to the bench that you only have to beat his once lol

Not sure if it's what you are referring to

Malkin pick pocket spin o rama bar down. So much skill and talent on display with one play.
this is overated as ****, it looks flashy but not so difficult. This goal looks like he just chose easy way to did this spinorama instead of actual dangle the defenders. I like more his takeaway and backhand from that goal

Tim Connolly has a few. One of the most pure skilled puck handlers of all time.

Breaks Alfredsson's ankles and then makes a ridiculous move under the stick of the Redden to roof it on the backhand. The type of hands it takes to do that . . . Its one of the most skilled finishes I've ever seen, short handed and in the playoffs no less.

Rick Nash's goal is probably the most skill I've seen.

You're right, the pass is definitely the highlight of that one! Didn't see that first time.

Sid faking Mackinnon into oblivion with just a little edge work.

Datsyuk completely killing Couture in the corner with that stickwork.

The Sedin to Sedin pass for a breakaway goal from last year i think. Damn that was a beauty.

I love this play by Kostitsyn. Ridicilous pass.

There's a quite few players that have done this, but I've always been partial to the player banking the puck off the back of the net to get away from the opposition.

For instance, this one (though it has a little bit of extra fanciness to it):

From a live game? The Matthews pass to Komarov against Washington in the regular season comes to mind. Of all time? Maybe the OV goal where he's on his back vs the Coyotes IIRC. Datsyuk has plenty as well.

This is probably not the best I've seen. But these guys deserve some love in this kind of thread.

Karlsson to Hoffman easily. Beats any lucky behind the back pass or dangle through dmen who dont take the body play by a mile.
