3. It was 3. And none at home. Rinne's save percentage was .976 over all, and I can't think of anyone I like seeing succeed more than Peks!

Our barn is crazy during a Tuesday night in February, but it really goes all out for the playoffs. There are a lot of in-jokes and superstitions that go along with the game ops for the intense fans but casual fans just like the atmosphere.

We rag the opponents from the announcement of their team on. A guy sat next to me and got a kick out of it, but then later on when we said "Thanks, Paul" after the minute remaining announcement he turned to me in shock and said "you guys are brutal. Did you just call your announcer an a-hole?" Our announcer, Paul McCann got a big kick out of that when I told him.

Congrats Preds. What a very impressive performance.

Plus we now get to see more of Carrie Underwood.

That was a bonafide ass kicking from start to finish. Chicago was outmatched in every facet. Well done Nashville. Well done.

Good work by Nashville and a good series win. Still think this is the end of a great run for Chicago. I expect some changes there this offseason.

I didn't see a single game in the series. Just the scores. Can someone give me a two sentence summary of what the heck happened?

Nashville skated circles around the hawks.

Hawks offense was neutralized to the point where it was non existent.

Oilers probably since their former team the Red Wings are hot garbage.

This reminded me of 2006 when Buffalo demolished that proven Philly squad.

Super happy for the Preds, though I thought Chicago was going to sweep them.

Guess I got the sweeping thing right.

Would be awesome to see Nashville go far.

Probably why he wanted this series to be over quick, more time to spend with his wife!

Congrats to the Preds! Sweeping a team is no joke and the Conference champions, to boot.

I was wrong in my analysis that the series would have benefited the Predators if it kept getting longer. But I told ya Blackhawk fans that this wasn't your year. All your young players got experience and the extended offseason will be a good thing. You guys will come back stronger next year, I wouldn't worry.

Hawks have smoked us over the years and we've taken our lumps.
No secret they're a perennial top team and will be again next year.

Payback for the first time is certainly a good feeling.

Probably not the Habs, they haven't won a cup since 92/93 and spend most of their time reliving glory days from 40+ years ago

On the plus side, the long-held resentment for the Blackhawks success in various competing markets is making for some great GIF and meme creativity.
