I really liked our PP with Lehkonen on it, lots of puck movement and they were getting into the slot.. our other PP line was awful though.

Galchenyuk should be on the half wall for shots, Pacioretty should be in front of the net or even replaced with Shaw and Radulov should be the one with the puck as he doesn't handle it like a grenade.

No wonder why the other PP line didn't work. Pacioretty, Galchenyuk and Beaulieu were on it. Three dumb players.

Recently, our PP has been better, and alot of variations of the get it to Weber type of PP. We just can't score, which has been our problem now, for years...yes years.

Honestly, stop posting SV% numbers for Price. It's not about number of saves but KEY saves. Price has not made key saves. G4: Nash Goal would be a key save. G5: Skeji, Fast would have been key saves to keep team momentum. Price has not been Price and I don't care what the number say. Rangers take a lot of perimeter shots. Lundqvist has made those key saves to keep his team in games they didn't deserve to be in.

Pacioretty, Galchenyuk, Danault : Wake the **** up. Absolutely cannot stand players that don't show any effort in the playoffs.

I still think we're taking this series. Game 5 should be a wakeup call. That OT was embarrassing and we need redemption. We sure as hell better show up.

I predicted MTL in 7 and I still think it will happen, but we need top 6 guys to wake up now.

This series is by no means over. It is very evenly matched and each game has been decided by a matter of inches. It will be no different in game 6.

The crazy thing is though, if we win in NY and force game 7, I won't have much confidence in game 7 either, even though the odds of NY beating us 3 times in Montreal would be extremely remote.

I do expect us to win game 6 and force 7 - then we'll see what happens.

I do not feel even remotely encouraged about this game and I unfortunately think it's over, but nevertheless I hope we at least don't get dominated. There was certainly a decent amount of time last night where we looked like the better team or at least a team with a shot, but then in the third and for almost all of OT we looked toothless. Constant dump and chase, no real zone entry at all. Every shot we had (if we even had any, I didn't look at stats out of disgust and it sure didn't feel like we had many) was pretty much from the boards. No high quality scoring chances that I can recall after Captain Casper blowing it on a breakaway.

I just feel disgusted after last night.

I'd go with :

Lehkonen-Galchenyuk-Radulov
Byron-Danault-Gallagher
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Shaw
Mitchell-Ott-McCarron

I agree.

Feels ****** having lost game 5, but I think the team is still confident and Price usually plays ridiculous on Saturday night games.

That bodes well

I guess that means Pacioretty single handedly wins the series.

No one should be stuck on the idea that the Rangers have been better. They haven't. At all. This has been as tight a series as possible, we just need to not take any periods off. I got confidence that we'll come through saturday

I have a hard time believing the Rangers will manage to beat us three games in a row, especially in these tight one goal games we've been seeing. One problem is that the guys looked a combination of nervous and exhausted throughout the 3rd and overtime which is pretty worrisome. Got to wonder how much is left in the tank.

I guess we'll see just how good CJ can be by how the team prepares and how well they play. We can beat these guys. We spanked them all season.

The first period aggression got us a lead, but there was little energy left to properly close the game out. We need a smarter game plan, and better hockey from all our guys.

As I said it earlier, Pacioretty needs to lead this team. Right now all he's doing is bringing everyone down with him. If he plays another **** game, we're done.

Price has been good, but not "carrying the team on his shoulders" good. We don't have enough scoring talent to have the luxury of not having him at the top of his game.

A lot of positive things can be said about the past 5 games, but we need those two players to play the game of their lives tomorrow if we hope to get to the 2nd round.

Pacioretty simply needs to help generate chances. I don't care if he doesn't score the actual goal, but if he's being more of a passenger than contributor, we are done.

That being said we have life. Let's go Habs. This isn't the first time we had to win a 6+7.
