I've run Jam into the ground. I drained that for all it was worth.

Nice. I wore a Subban shirt for games 1 and 2 on the road and my Fisher jersey at the arena for games 3 and 4.

Guess I'll stick with that going forward.

....speaking of player shirts, I don't know if anyone had ever seen these before, but I saw these guys last night with custom made shirts that said "ARVY! He has the meats!!" .......Okay only Americans on here will probably get that reference but I thought it was pretty funny.

My earlier version of Arvy Sauce that I use in the GDT's when he scores had "He has the feets" then "He has the feats". Finally went with just the adapted sauce bottle from our favorite alt-meat quick food.

I saw the April date on the OP of this thread and was thinking it was current until I saw the post about Gaustad and Nystrom

This is the first year i'm going all in on the playoff beard, so far so good. Though I go the Weber and Ellis route, so I already had a fantastic head start...

I noticed that a certain negative presence on the boards hasn't been around in a while. Hopefully it stays that way and the team keeps rolling.

First time poster, long time fan though. My game day ritual so far has been to find a 4 leaf clover in my yard sometime before puck drop. I'd already staked out 3 more for the next couple of games when I found a patch with 9 of them, so I've got 12 clovers ready to go.

I wore the same t shirt for every game and watched from the same spot on my couch (minus game 4 that I went to). Game 3 I started watching in a different room and then moved back for the 3rd period and we tied it up.

I was in a total media blackout for all 4 games, gave my tickets to Preds fans. I don't really want to do that this round...

Umm...if you're giving away tickets for game 4 I'll take them.

Generaly, when my team is losing and i quit, they end up winning !!

When they were 0-2 agains chicago ... and came back in the 3rd ... my TV was on ... but i wasn't watching anymore.

i always say, i have 3 curses in my life :

1) in the army, i have the face of the guy that always has to clean the toilets
2) when going to a group cafe machine , when i take one, be sure it will be jammed and i will have to remove the blocking capsule or empty the over the top filled end recipient
3) when my team looses, and i stop watching, they end up winning !! i always miss the best part !!!

These are my life curses !! ... not bad ?? uh ?

So you will not know, but if they loose ... i'll stop watching ... i'll stick to it.

There's an inside joke between me and my friends that when we're losing a big home game and things are looking bad I will say (with a tone of desperation) ".....Well.......if we win it's gonna be awesome.". Only saved for big games. Down to Arizona in December doesn't count.

Considering the circumstances our record when I say it isn't really that bad it seems. I've only had to use it once lately, and that was the 2nd intermission of game 3 against Chicago. And, yeah.

I do that, too. I wear the same shirt to home games as long as we win. I sit in the same spot on the couch for road games if we win. If I'm out of the room for a goal, I better stay out. If I'm gone for a goal at a home game, I'll go out to the hall to try to get another goal.

I'm superstitious, I don't change things after a win.

I don't understand non-superstitious people.

Didn't want to say anything before to jinx it, but...

In '96 I moved from PA to TN, (prior to the Preds) and my Flyers went to the Cup Final.

In '14 I moved from TN to FL, latched onto the Lightning and they went to the final.

Then I moved back from FL to TN in '16... And here we are!

I guess I'll have to relocate states every couple years for the Preds.

I'm gonna be totally honest I forgot the Lightning went to the Final in 2015 and have absolutely no recollection of Tampa Bay playing a single second in Chicago.

I slightly remember games being played in Tampa.

''what worked'' - When it's all over. When it's all over.
Until then Im not telling you because it will break the spell....

but our slogan should be - Living The Dream! these words describes the Predators playoff run.

I had a pretty good run with Spiteful Taco Bell for lunch on game days (the day of one of the games against the Blues I was going to go to Blue Coast Burrito, but it was way too busy and it's not nearly good enough food to wait that long so I went to Taco Bell out of spite). It's run ended this past round though.

I have a shirt that was undefeated until Game 4 of this last round. I had forgotten to wear it a couple of times obviously.

We're pretty successful when I get pissed off and turn the game off. Started doing that in Game 3 against Chicago, and kept it up until Game 6 of the last round.

Nothing I've done is 100%, but I'm about 80-90% successful with those three things.
