Better To Be Habs These Days Than Bruins

If this was the fate of the Canadiens after the losing after the first round, all I have to say is, thank you Joe Thornton for your undisciplined play.
We would have fans rationalizing why we lost, and still harping on one minor incident that in the long run, really wasn't that integral to the series. At this rate, it's hard to believe that you have gotten over the whole Ulf Samuelsson shadowing Cam Neely fiasco already! We would also be blaming our early exit on our injured captain, when in actuality, Koivu played since game #2 with cracked ribs and torn cartilage, hmm...similar to Thornton, only difference is, KOIVU LED THE PLAYOFFS IN SCORING (up to when they were eliminated), and Thornton, well, did next to nothing.
I feel bad for Raycroft for how much pressure was put upon him this year, face it, his career will never be what is should've been!
Habs signed a key free agent that actually helped during the playoff run, while Gonchar and Nylander, didn't really help at all. Different Year, same result.
I am proud that the Habs, a team the was predicted to be in the Ovechkin sweepstakes, not only made the playoffs, beat out the Bruins, who with all there free agents, and a possible lockout, could very well be there last shot at the silver for awhile. Montreal has a core of young stars, that we will be competitive for years to come.
Poor Bruins, having a young undisciplined captain, who is prone to temper tantrums, a goalie who is the leading candidate for the Giguere award (awesome one year, brutal the next) and a team that may be gutted by the time hockey starts again from free agents, etc.

(**If you are wondering where this is coming from, please refer to the thread on the Bruins board, titled "Better to be Bruins these days than the Habs"**)

I can't believe it!

Some Bruins fans are saying it's better to be a bruins fan because we didn't win a game in round 2 so they had a more succesful playoffs then us but somehow they didn't beat us and they are ebtter then us!

WHAT'S UP WITH SOME PEOPLE?

Very clever of the Bruins! Looks like Thornton and company knew what they were doing all along. A very successful "Avoid the second round" run.
