Kidding me ? He was awful against the Islanders, well Boyes, Kariya, Stempniak, Tkachuk and McDonald will have some fun time tonight...
Honestly, I would rather have Dandenault at D than Breezer. I can't stand him anymore, congrats you have reach the 400pts career, good achievement for a Dman... Now could you please get the phone, call Gainey and retired before the playoffs ? Thanks.

Brisebois is god damn awful since the beginning of the season. He's too slow and unable to handle pressure. Add his tendencies for turnovers and you have a very angry Hamrlik who's constantly in trouble since Brisebois is a turd.

Hamrlik already said he doesn't mind between Brisebois & O'Byrne. They were pretty good at the start of the year. I'm not a fan, but don't make more of it that it is. He's better depth than Todd Simpson or whoever they grabbed last year. Plus he has WON a Cup, an experience that is valuable no matter how poorly he may (or may not) play.
I'll have to agree. Brisebois is just slowing down, he can't keep up with the speed of the league and mostly with the speed of the Habs. It forces him to make bad decisions with the puck (i.e. blind passes, throwing it back to Hamrlik behind the net with two Isles covering him when Pleks has position on the side wall to get it out).
I was at all three games at the Bell Center last week and you really notice more when you see them live. It was obvious that Brisebois depended on Hamrlik. When he handles the puck it's like a hot potato, he just doesn't want it. When you compare him to a youngster like Josh Gorges (I know their not battling for spots and its between O'Byrne and Brisebois, but I wanted to talk about Gorges for a bit). Gorges is solid. Soooooo smooth with the puck, he does the little things right, recognizes spots, makes good first outlet passes, wins battles, and just knows where to be. He's come so far since last season and despite the emergence of guys like Kostitsyn, Plekanec and Komi I think Gorges is the most improved player from last season and is our 'Unsung hero'. I feel extremely comfortable icing Gorges-Boullion 14-17 minutes a game and it gives Carbo a stabilized D. Funny how the battle on D is for the 4th spot and not the bottom pair.
Its O'Byrnes spot to lose, and I'm just worried he's going to make those rookie mistakes in the playoffs. I'd still prefer him over Brisebois for sure, but we really are lucky to have Hamrlik to pair with him to settle him and cover for any errors.
I think our D is playin pretty solid and I like the lines Carbo put out versus the Isles, we've improved our 5on5 play which is always good, and we are in pretty good shape going into the playoffs IMO.
Halak's playin well and I like this start, even though it'll probably be his last of the season. Price is our guy and I love it, theres a certain aura about him that just screams out winner.
Carbo's done an amazing job this year...best Habs coach since Demers? I belive so.

Home/Away record:
Blues Away record : 10-19-6
Habs Home record : 18-13-5
Streaks:
Blues are on a 6 game loosing streak and are 0-7-3 in their last 9 road games. They have been outscored 39-15 during that time.
Halak is 8-0-0 in his career at the Bell Center
Our PP% at home vs their PK% on the road:
25.3% VS. 80.2%
Penalties against for the Blues:
403 (9th worst in the league)
Maybe Carbo will use Kovy 2 mins on our PP and 0 on the PK.
I actually think Kovalev is the second best PKer, behind Plekanec. I wouldn't mind seeing him getting 2 mins on the PP and 30 on the PK. He is a great special teams player.

OH yeah the guy has the puck on a string so hard to take it away from him.
