Pathetic.

I kind of called it on Sunday morning in the out of town thread:

The Blues are not that bad of a team talent wise (the Islanders lineup we saw last night is a lot worse) and the Habs never play great games against teams they should easily beat to start with. Especially at home.

Plus, it's a trap game as it is before a home-and-home with Boston which will be highly emotionnal.

Color me frightened about Tuesday. I may even bet a ton of v-cash on the Blues, that's how bad my feeling is about that game (plus I am a lousy v-cash better, so I may jinx the Blues). The Habs have shown me nothing convincing when it comes time to taking care of business against bad teams.
Habs at home against a bad team = guaranteed the game will be far tougher than it should be. The Habs got what they deserved. Check that, they deserved nothing for taking the first 40 minutes for granted. They play the whole game like they did in the third, they walk out with 2 points and quite easily.

On to Boston. Brisebois better be OUT. Smoke better be OUT for that atrocious error that led to the Blues first goal. Don't worry about Pleks line, they WILL tear it up against the Bs like they always do.

I don't think they played that bad at all. Did not get any bounces tonight.

The Habs sucked, plain and simple. They looked like Ice Capades out there.

Yup, atleast our game in hand over Ottawa assures us they will not match us even with a win.. I'm stoked.

Meh. It was a pointless game all around.

If we wanna win the division we are going to have beat Ottawa. Simple as that.

Grabovski stole the point for us at least let him shoot in the shootout over Kost who did nothing all game.

Well, we're lucky to have even gotten a point out of this. We played with no intensity for 50 min.

This was probably Andrei's worst game of the entire season.

On a positive note, Higgins, Grabovski and Sergei played an AWESOME game tonight. I personally don't know why Carbo tempered with it in 3rd, because it was clearly his best line.

Kovalev really needs to try a new move in the shootout...

Aside from that, I'm erasing this game from my memory. Brutal.

Yeah... I was hoping A.Kost was going to use that snap shot of his.. We probably should have used Grabs, just for the sake of giving him the slap on the ass for the 1pt.

I'll take the point and go to bed.

stupid post

They didn't play "great" the first 2 periods, but the 3rd and OT were all played in the Blues' zone. The big difference tonight is the Blues' PK.

Hilariously bad game by Andrei Kostitsyn. I think its his worst NHL game by far, and I'm a big fan of his.

I hope Grabovski keeps on playing like he did tonight however, he really looked great and seemed to be willing to be more than a passenger. He seems to have great chemistry with Higgins and Sergei.

Losing to a scrub team is always hard but hopefully they can rebound.

brizzer with so many bad passes.
saku made a really great move in SHO but bad luck
and ryder is playing pretty ok hockey but i still think he is controlling the puck to much.
