GAME TAKES: Boston Domination continues MTL: 4 Bos: 2

Magic number down to 6.

Kovy
Price shakey at time but

Higgins - Grabo - Kosty - I love this line
Streit played well replacing Komi

Hope Komi is ok

3 STARS:
3- A. Kostitsyn
2- Price
1- Kovalev

Fireworks at the end sets up a fun saturday night game!

Carbonneau really blew it by not putting Kovy on the PP and when Boston pulled the goalie for his hat trick.

Other than that, another win vs the Ruins in a typical manner.

I think we should start a team of junior callups on Saturday. We've already beaten them seven times, and I don't want any of our starters hurt by the troll

Nice game.

Habs win 4-1 **** the blind refs that can't spot goalie interference.

It's funny because we were playing horribly until the 2nd period when Kovalev goes: "**** this bull **** I'm just gonna do it myself"

After that it was all good.

Haha I hope Laps said "what is that, 7 wins Murray?" at the end. Hahaha love owning that garbage team.

Hope Komo is OK .... Good game overall. Kovalev is great. Good bounce back after the bad game against the Blues.

The Bruins are pathetic

I am amazed that stick Thomas gave to Kost's face wasn't called. Reviewed by the league perhaps? That was some dirty ****.

And lol @ no goaltender interference on their 2nd goal. Good thing we had owned them enough at that point.

What a road game we played!!! Everyone was great... OByrne was pretty solid, Lats had an amazing shift on Ryder's goal.. Lapierre, what a game!! Kovy AMAZING!! If A.Kost played a bad game against the Blues, he was absolutely great tonight! I liked S.Kost on the point, Markov's best game for a while..

Im worried about Komi's injury but reassured the way our D played without him..

I will reserve major commentage until after CH Express, but I will say three things:

1. As long as Montreal wins, Ottawa will not catch up. Ever.
2. 92 points is the magic number that's very likely to make the playoffs in the East. Montreal could lose all their remaining games and their odds of making the playoffs would still be excellent.
3. I don't know if Montreal can do it, but I like their odds of going 8-0 against the Bruins much better than the odds of Boston going 8-0 against Montreal right about now.

Maybe the ''sweetest'' win over Boston this season.

- Kovalev was just UNREAL tonight.

- Bruins played us hard in the first 30 minutes. They still couldn't beat us.

- We scored 4 even strength goals, so much for that ''we only own them because of the PP'' non-sense.

- More Tim Thomas softies against us. Auld will be starting on Saturday I would bet.

- It could have easily been 6-2 or 7-2. We missed some great chances early.

- Lost Komisarek early (god, please let that injury be minor) and didn't collapse or anything. Good gutty effort by the D. If I ever see BRISEBOIS play instead of Streit on D again I will break something...

- Terrific penalty killing.

- Boston's top players were terrible. Chara continues to look like a road cone when facing us, you'd think they get him away from Kovalev but no. Savard was invisible, Glen Murray looks washed up (enjoy his 4 M contract next season) and Thomas like I said gave up some softies.

- Our fans owning the building.

- Kostopoulos the warrior!

- Price was very solid despite a shaky start.

- I wouldn't trade Kostitsyn (either one) for Kessel straight up.

Let's sweep these ****s on Saturday!

My hate for Thomas makes these wins even more satisfying. Thomas is a terrible goalie who gets lit the f--- everytime we play him!!!

Kovy
