I hope TheDamned and his Kovy jersey can get out of Boston in one piece.Amazing game for Kovy and you can be sure TheDamned's love for Kovalev is at an all time high after watching him in Boston tonight. He must be beaming right about now......

As other people said, we don't need to risk an injury to Kovalev at that point in the game. Also I thought Latendresse didn't do too badly out there, I remember him blocking a shot which then bounced out of our zone.

I have to say I understand him, Bruins love moral victories, and we can't lose Kovalev. I understand what you mean, but that's only my opinion.

I remember what Auld did last time he played at the Bell Center... because I was there to witness the most lop-sided victory of the year!

it didn't look like a groin pull - looked like a Charley horse or maybe knee sprain..
he might've also been left out for precautionary reasons. it's not like we're fighting for our playoff lives

some rest will do komo some good, he shouldnt rush back, regardless of his injury. some rest is necessary with his style of play

Excellent team game by the Habs, everyone. Kovalev showed again why he is the most valuable player on the team.

I'm amazed that the TSN analysts, excluding McKenzie; who framed Kovalev's goals as bad, evil= SICK, blamed the Bruins D and Thomas for giving up weak goals. I wonder what their commentary would have been if Kovalchuk or Ovechkin had done these deeds.

We're 1st in the Eastern Conference again

3. I don't know if Montreal can do it, but I like their odds of going 8-0 against the Bruins much better than the odds of Boston going 8-0 against Montreal right about now.

Just got back from reading some of the GDT on the Bruins board.Won't post and cause any trouble though over there so I just read and leave. That forum is humorous at the best of times but when they play and lose to the Habs their GDT is always hilarious and as me laughing so much.If they soon don't get a Bruins victory over the Habs some of those guys will look for the highest building and jump.Great game again tonight for the Habs against the Bruins and hopefully they can do the same on Saturday night.

Best road record in the league now. Montreal at 23-11-4, Detroit at 22-11-4(winning 3-2 tonight in nashville though)

LoL, the first guy on CKAC to call in is to wonder why Dandenault is not playing. That was the theme of his whole call. Are you kidding me?

I concur...I was hoping we would give him 10 days off before the playoffs (ie missing the last 2 games) because since February he seems to be running out of gas or something. Definitely hasn't played a big time physical game in a long time. This injury will give him some rest at least.

I can't believe The Damned went to Boston to see this game. He can't even visit other teams boards on the HF forums without getting in trouble.

Anyway, this explains the more vocal Habs fans in Boston tonight during the game. Glad Kovalev gave him lots of ammo. I strongly suspect Bostonians will be falling all over theirselves trying to get in The Damneds good graces.

Kovalev was absolutely brilliant tonight. But once again the whole team was good, which is always great.

Hopefully Carbo keeps Lapierre in the lineup, I really like the energy he brings to the game.

who was the last guy who suggested that Montreal move Kovalev to the 4th line to help them win more games?
