I hope Thomas gets a suspension.

I cant believe this incident went so unnotice. That wasnt only a high-stick but Thomas intentionally hit Andrei Kostitsyn`s face with his stick, Emery did the same thing last year and got 1 or 3 game, i hope the Habs will send a tape to the league.

Thats ****ing dangerous, Andrei was lucky that he wears a visor, Thomas could have hit his eye or whatever. Since when are you allowed to hit a guy`s face with your stick?

And that mother****er Fraser saw that damn well but he want to give a chance to the Bruins to comeback. Dont ****ing tell me that he didnt see that, he was right in front of them, and he went to talk to Thomas about it.

I am really ****ing mad to see something like this always happening against our Habs.

Yea, amazing it wasn't a penalty. Fraser was right next to it too LOL. What a joke the NHL is.

I didn't see the play but was it suspension worthy? I expect Auld in the Bruins net for Saturday's game.

Of course not, he just swung his stick at someone's face.

I dunno about that. It was a pretty nasty play, but goalies do tend to get away with a lot more then they should, especially if the player (Kostitsyn) was in his face like that.

Not saying it's right, just saying how it usually works.

It was borderline, because you have to factor into it that Andrei was falling on him to begin with

At most, could have been a penalty, at most. not suspension worthy, or anything.

Like everyone else, I hope he starts on Saturday

Should have got a high-sticking call and a game misconduct.. No suspension though.

I agree with the missed penalty call, but I don't think it's suspension worthy.

Are you serious?

An unintentional high-stick can cost you 4min in the box, using a stick (weapon) to hit a guy on the FACE is not suspension worthy?

Just the high-stick... this was nothing like what Emery did to Lapierre.

I don't see Thomas getting suspended (fined, maybe?) because as far as I know it would be his first offense. Emery got suspended for similar last year, but hadn't he already had run-ins with the league?

Maybe, but it was deliberate.. To me when your a goalie, and you deliberately high stick someone.. It speaks volumes.

Dont tell me that Thomas stick hit Andrei accidently. So youre telling you can use your stick to hit someone's face now? That could only results for a 2 min or 4 min penalty??

That was intentional and should automatically be a suspension.

Cmon...

Of course it was no accident, and should've been a 2-minute high sick, but I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell that this is a suspendable offence, even with the on-ice call absent.

It's called countering your weight. When you lose your balance while falling backwards (which he was), your natural reaction is to throw your arms forward to prevent it. His stick happened to hit him in the head. It's an accident, get over it.
