That was intentional and should automatically be a suspension.

Cmon...
Watch the replay. IIRC, Kosty was going towards Thomas. The goalie lost his balance a bit and slapped him. It's nothing like the slash Emery served to Lapierre.

What the hell happened to the game? Every one is calling for suspension out of nothing. I though it was a rough game. Now people are acting like little girls. Come on.

Watch the arm as Thomas comes back. The arm swings up and out to counter his movement, and then clearly moves to the side when there's no lateral movement to counter. Calling that accidental is kidding yourself. Thomas did just enough to play the plausible deniability card in starting with a legitimate recovery.

It's okay. I just don't think a suspension should be called. That's all.

I don't think it's worth a suspension, but stil he is responsible for what he does with his stick. Even accidental high sticks deserve 2 or 4 minutes.

Calling that an accident is ridiculous.

I would have give him a 1 game, even if it doesnt really affect the Bruins cuz he probably wont start next game.

Andrei had his visor and didnt really show any emotion on that so it went unnotice, but the consequences could have been way worst if he hits a guy without a visor. So yeah, i agree now, no injury, even if it was DELIBERATE, but no injury, no suspension.

You can hit a guy on the face with your stick as much as you want, but DONT make him bleed or having an injury.

For me using a stick to hit someone's face is dangerous and should result by an automatic suspension..

I'm a Bruins fan and even I am saying that it was obviously intentional. Your response if perfect. If that happened with Price, the entire thread would be flooded with complaints. I'm a huge Timmy fan, but I was dissapointed with that.

Suspension? No.

I think he tried to hit him with his stick, if lightly. He did a good job of making it look like it was a result of falling backwards. I doubt it even hurt Andrei, he barely tapped him.

It's not even worthy of whining over, let alone reviewing by the league.

Even if it WAS a suspendable offense, Colin Campbell will look at the tape and say, "I'll give Thomas 2 games....from Pronger's 8."

Nah, it's really not that big a thing. I don't think it merits any further attention - it should've been penalized, but it's not anywhere near close enough to keep it in discussion.

That was a real ***** move by Thomas, should have been an obvious two minutes for high sticking.
Nothing more.

Worthy of a penalty? Absolutely.

Indeed. Intentional or not, the point is the stick connected to the face, and that was worthy for a penalty.

it was funny how thomas tried to mask it by doing that off balance trick....even healy caught it so that just proves how bad of an acting job it was.

I dont think it was as bad as emery's but it definitly warranted a 2 minute penalty.

Thomas was falling backwards. Sure he probably wanted to clip Andrei.. but no one wants to take a stick in someone's face.. because its career threatening.

Penalty worthy? Yeah. Suspension? **** no.

The worst part is that Kost was pushed into Thomas by a Bruin, then that piece of **** Thomas tapped him in the face with the pallet of his stick.

It was more intentional than anything and deserved a penalty. I dont know what that moron Fraser was thinking.

The sad part is nobody will even bother. Disrespect like that shouldn't go unnoticed and while im sure the guys will try to hit him harder, this is when we miss a legit tough guy to take care of that little ********, so he thinks twice before pulling that crap again next time.

Man.. if it hit his eye and he started bleeding, with that same exact slash, everybody would want a suspension. But nothing happened so who cares about the intention, lets just hit everybody badly and hope nothing happens.
