It was an horrible games for the referries. They have let incredibles violation of rules let by (I remember the holding down of Plekaneks in the 1st period, in the Bruin's territory)
It should have been called a no goal due to incidental contact with the goalie with no penalty on the play. They seem to be calling that alot this year and it would have been the right call there.

What do you guys think about the Grabovski line? I didn't think they were as impressive tonight, but they did have a couple of chances and I really hope Carbonneau keeps it together for the rest of the season.

Grabovski is atrocious at face-offs which really limits the situations the line can be used in, but I think he clicks pretty well with his linemates, can draw a few penalties, and is clearly a more useful player than Smolinski. I also love the way he backchecks and takes the puck right off the stick of opposing forwards similarly to how Perezhogin often did it.

I want a clean NHL. With clean refs, with clean calls.

Just because we won does not mean it's all right. Will we have to wait for an injured Price or Kovalev to do something?

We get the moral victory tonight cuz we lost Komi...
TK had one eye, yet we still smoked them in the 3rd.

I wonder if they get extra moral points for the visible black eye? And have they clinched a moral playoff spot yet?

When I saw McKenzie's commentary live, I thought he was saying how great Kovalev's goals were. On second viewing, he blames Thomas, unlike the others who blamed the D, and Thomas.

IMO, Thomas, or any other goaltender wouldn't have been ready to set theirselves in proper position, as normally Kovalev would have been nullified by the D. Kovalev pawned the D both times. Not only that. After he pawned the D he put the puck where the open 5 hole was. Pawned again.

I think they are on pace to win the Morale Cup (most moral victories in the regular season).

IMO it was a great game on both ends. Bruins had a good game and the Habs (old news) had another great game. MORAL VICTORY!

It feels good to be from New England and hate the Bruins!

But I'm like 10 minutes from the Quebec border, so I'm sure a bunch of Bruin fans, think I'm Canadian anyway!

Excellent game overall, the guys were able to compete from the puck drop and didn't back down when it got rough. Bouillon played an amazing game and Gorges as well. With Komi out Josh got 23 minutes of ice time and Francis got 21 minutes.

EA is brutal with the rating of players. I mean Smolinski is an 84 overall in nhl08 which is insanse.

Both of them are unsung heroes. These guys are playing under the radar, but they are playing intense!

What i found funny tonight is that on a couple of occasions tiny Grabovski found himself in the corner with the giant Chara and he just pushed him aside like you would a 5 year old.

The difference in power and weight was quite funny to watch as Grabovski looked like a rag doll being tossed to and fro.

Brutal = good?

Is 84 good?

I don't really know my NHL games.. I just want to know the electronic stats of our team.. *shy*

Off course, I'll just laugh when I'll compare the 08 and 09. Suddenly, in 1 year, Kovalev, Plekanek, Lat, Price and Co. will have known an incredible increase in stat.
