Well, whatever. Leave Grabovski in the line-up, and Brisebois out, against Buffalo and I'll be happy. Any other In and Out, I could care less.

-I was listening to Dany Dubé on CKAC. He wants to do what some of you guys suggest... Keep Lapierre, Streit and Kostopoulos and add Bégin, and take away Grabovski. He didn't specify how he would make it happen.

-Although I much prefer Lapierre to Smolinski centering the energy/checking line, IMO he can't pivot SKost and Higgins or two other offensive forwards. He's just not a playmaker. I much prefer Smolinski in that role. He has better offensive awareness... It's a vicious circle.

-The only other solution (other than Smolinski or Lapierre centering the 3rd offensive line) would be to try to move Higgins or someone else to center, and move Streit to the 3rd line. I guess Carbo could figure out if it's feasible or not.

-I much prefer keeping Smoke out, Grabovski in, and picking 2 out of the 3 (Kosto, Lapierre, Bégin) to play with Streit on the checking line.

I think Smolinski's faceoffs and experience would be valuable in the playoffs, in a limited role of course.

I would definitely agree with keeping Grabovski in the line-up. The Habs have lots of D forwards to make up for his weakness on face-offs. Seems to me that Plekanec had this problem with face-offs last year. Grabs, because of his speed, forces the opposition to focus more on defending than offending. This to me is a good thing.

I'd sit Smokes for a while and play Lapierre. I'd also play Begin the next few games.

Bouillon doesn't play LD while Gorges hasn't played all that much RD as a Hab.

I don't know anything about the defenders sides, I never follow that.

O'Byrne to start, if he struggles Breezer in due to experience, but limited role.

Same with Grabovski, if he can't handle playoff hockey, slide in Smolinski for defensive zone face-offs only, limited minutes.

Kosty - Pleks - Kovy
Lats - Koivu - Ryder
Higgins - Grabs - Kosty
Streit - Begin - Lappy

Markov - Komisarek
Bouillon - Gorges
Hamrlik- Brisebois/O'Byrne

The play-offs can be a long tournament, I'm sure we'll everyne get a game. Carbo also likes to keep his players fresh and playing hard with the threat of sitting out a game if they don't show up for every shift.

The lines will depend on who we play. If we need big body presence, Carbo will play O'B on the blue line and Kosto and Smoke up front. If we need to be quick and speedy, Carbo will play Grab and may play Beezer instead of O'B.

As much as I enjoy seeing Grabo in the line-up, I think Carbo will play Smoke more often. Carbo seems to have some wierd fascination with this guy, playing him in big games and when we're down 2 men to penalties, I don't get it but he keeps putting him in. The fact that he has one of the best face off percentages on the team must have something to do with it, because it certainly isn't his play.
