Bylsma passive aggressively rips Lehner

Awesome moment on NHL tonight. They are interviewing some guy named Josh Brewster to talk about the Ducks / Oilers series. He's talking about John Gibson and he says, "Everybody can point to statistics, but to me, give me the goaltender who can make timely saves." Off camera the host says, "This guy next to me knows what you're talking about. Dan Bylsma. He's smiling." Guy says, "Yeah, i have a feeling he knows what we're talking about."

And I'm sure Lehner is saying I wish we had a coach that was competent and can manage in game

After Lehner was basically the only person on the team to defend him too.

Edit: this it is also a ****ing stupid premise too. Lehner made a ton a huge saves this season to keep us in games. And I'm not even that high on him.

Lehner is about the only player who openly stood up for his loser coach

The bar for "awesome moment" with some people is embarrassingly low.

Plus, "awesome moment" and "Dan Blysma" has only been used in the same sentence twice since 2009 and one was when he got the Jack Adams for some reason and the other was when he was canned. Well, I'm sure Pens fans felt the same way when they fired him too.

He didn't lose this job because of a goaltender.

He did lose another one because of a goaltender though.

Yeah, this obviously wasn't about Lehner...

So Bylsma did not say a single word, according to the OP.

Man, he really tore Lehner a new one. Let's also consider the OP's active agenda against all things Lehner and Murray. I'd love to see a clip of this "ripping."

Sounds a lot more like playoff Fleury than Lehner anyway. The only thing Lehner really stunk at was shootouts.

That's what I was thinking. Fleury had great moments that won him a cup and embarrassing situations that hurt them in different series.

All of that. Do people not remember MAF's playoff issues? Lehner? Really?

To clarify, two broadcasters talked about goalies making timely saves and mentioned that Dan Bylsma (off camera) smiled? Is that the "awesome moment" in which Lehner was "ripped"?

So the correct thread title would be "Not-Bylsma passively aggressively rips Not-Lehner."

Way to go.

Yeah, this makes no sense applied to Lehner. I can see it referring to Fleury. Even so, it wasn't Bylsma doing the "ripping," it was the hosts.

So .... can we close this thread down since what the OP thought was 100% true, is in fact 100% incorrect?

Just a poor attempt at Lehner bashing

Lehner bashing is just poorly disguised Murray bashing. Murray sniped the dude at COD or Quake or whatever, hit the guy's dog, and/or traded him, and the boards have been one exciting trollercoaster ride of obsession ever since.
