I would think that it has something to do with the cartilage that is in between the breastbone and the ribs that holds it in place.

Jimmy Fallon2 at a Preds game 3-22-08.jpg

I was thinking that guy looks like Jimmy Fallon and then he took his hat off and everyone was like OMG it IS Jimmy Fallon!

During the second intermission a line formed with about 50 people to get pictures with him and autographs. And he happily stood there and talked to every single person. And cheered the band.

So much for the "We leave stars alone" crap.

That was a much better game and good for them to finally get a home win. Impressed with how they managed to not get called for one penalty.

Great saves when we needed them by Ellis! And a few lucky posts, too. That's the kind of goaltending that we need, that will steal us games and wins. Good Job Dan Ellis!

Radulov and Peverley! FINALLY! The quote from Rads about the shootout was great, "Please, God, don't let them pick me"! Rads went back to the bench and Arnott bearhugg/headlocked him and smacked him on the head, they were all pumped for a win.

The first few minutes they looked a little tentative out there but then they woke up and started playing better. They let Kane and some guys split the d pair in the first few minutes and get a few good chances. But then they clamped down and played better. Shea Weber, I thought had a great game. He was pretty much always in position and even flopped around like Hasek to block a shot. I really like the Weber/Suter pairing.

OK, sellout no longer = loss. The whole building was loud and just really wanted them to get that win. AND $10,000 to schools. Take that Craddock and Tennessean haters!

And congrats to Pope John Paul II for winning the Predators Cup! Back to Back Champs!

JP II had the luxury of having enough players to fields 2 teams. I am not sure they strictly adhered to roster regulations this year, quite frankly, but they were able to field the most talented team and win consistently, so it probably would not have mattered anyway, they were the best. You can do that when you offer scholarships to hockey players.

I've found, for the most part, that only works in the case of country music stars...and sometimes not even then. Anyone else is fair game.
