He is very talented player and know for sure from his father Sergei (former Soviet league D with Krylia Soiets M) that Makarov Igor is coming to play in the North America. He wants to develop more and become NHLer with Chicago soon... 07-08 was average compared to the other same age with him players. He started strong and then slowed down that coach Smith even sent him to "2" team then he was promoted again. Stats GP 50 G 4 A 12 PTS 16 PIM 26 +/- +2 and play-off GP 9 G 2 A 1 PTS 3 PIM 35 +/- +3
Needs time to develop and to adapt to the North American style of life like the other Russians did with AHL Lemtyugov, Lisin, Nikulin, Zubov, Plekhanov, Valentenko etc.
