Is it that time again where Francis will pick up the batphone and talk to Bowman?

This is what happens when you pay good players (Toews) and second pairing D guys ( Seabrook) elite level money.

Maybe, Seabrook's contract is the worst of the bunch but would be a great fit for Edmonton. Eberle and Nuge's contracts arent "good". Kruger would help the worst faceoff team in hockey and Anisimov is a very good player that would allow Draisatl to stay on McDavid's wing if wanted.

Anisimov won't have much trade value considering his full NMC. He picks the team he goes to, and can choose to stay in Chicago if he wishes.

This would only be to make cap space, out of necessity, not desire.

What I hope won't happen but what will probably happen is that Bergevin will try to trade for him, and will throw Galchenyuk, because he's a moron.

Not saying that Gally > Ani, but we just can't lose Gally.

Sure, if it means one of your D coming back. What does Chicago add to AA or Panarin to get Faulk or Hanafin back?

Nothing. We are not good trade partners at the moment. Faulk and Hanifin goes nowhere if the package starts with Anisimov.

I had him on my fantasy team and his production fell off a cliff in the second half of the season.
Was he playing injured or something?

Seabrook's negative value essentially cancels out Anismov, and even that is being generous based on recent cap dump trades.
Then it's Kruger for the Edmonton package. That is brutal.

Habs should offer up Beaulieu, 1st rd pick, 2nd rd pick .
Anisimov would have had 55-60pts last year if he didnt get hurt.

Change Anisimov name to Brandon Sutter and you wouldn't even notice the difference it seems - pure stats wise, 20-20 pts, average in playoffs, both tall and thin, similar contracts.

Anisimov put up more than 10 points more than Sutter did in almost 20 fewer games last season.

And Anisimov is like .5 PPG career to date, Sutter is like .38.

They're fairly different, in both deployment and output.

Bergevin won't have any interest in Anisimov. He's not a 4th liner.

Nah. All of the deals between the Hawks and Canes have had players going to the Canes. Let's keep it that way.

....Is he?

Anyway, he's ocked up for two years, when he goes UFA we probably wont be able to fit him. Anisimov is locked up cheaper, longer.

Panarin will also bring back more assets.

And he has zero trade protection until July 1st.

We dont have much center depth so i would say keep anisimov. We would have to get soe draft picks in return i guess. Anisimov is a keeper in my eyes
