Big two points after Edmonton jumped us last night to put us in 10th and Colorado defeated Calgary to put us again back four points.
Look for the same lineup as last game with Ellis in net. DeVries did not skate in practice yesterday and is doubtful for tonight. Boll is out for Columbus so with the trade of Shelley earlier this season, I would suspect that Hordichuk remains on the sidelines in favor of Bochenski.
It's hard to believe this is the second to last home game, already. I'll be in 314 tonight, as opposed to my usual 327.
You have to believe the Jackets are going to put everything they have into spoiling our playoff push. It's going to take a better effort than we showed on Saturday against the Blackhawks. Hopefully the fact that they spent almost the whole practice yesterday working on the powerplay will make a difference, because it was rotten, and has been rotten.
Yeah Legwand is still out for tonight according to our paper:
Quote:
Injuries: Center David Legwand (foot) and defenseman Greg De Vries (upper body) missed Monday’s practice.
De Vries missed Saturday’s game and is doubtful for Tuesday night’s game, Trotz said. Legwand, out since March 7, won’t play Tuesday night and is questionable for Friday’s game at Columbus, Trotz said.
Oh well its been said every game here lately but this is the biggest game of the season. We have to keep pace if we have a shot... at least there has been no 3 point games in these Northwest battles.
I guess I just have no faith at all in this teams ability to play desperation hockey and pull off a win. I don't know why they fail in this situation, but there you have it. I predict we can't put the goals together to win. I hope I am wrong.

You haven't seen a rotten PP until you see ours(CBJ). That being said, I think the boys will put forth a strong effort on the road in Nashville tonight. Several quotes in the paper today by the players talking about our 1-11-2 record vs NSH over the last 2 years and how badly they want to change that. Of course you guys are playing for the post season, so by all indications it should be a great game to watch. Lots of energy.
Hmm, a team that is looking to play spoiler against a team which has pretty much owned them the past few seasons and a team which is struggling to make the playoffs who fails to show up in huge games.
Lets just say that I don't have my hopes up about this one...
