I would like to see one thing and one thing only on Friday, and that is someone called up from the Cuse to kick Tootoo's punk ass. This guy is a flat out coward in my book.
Why, you ask?
Because since he has been in the league with the Preds, he has always ducked and dodged fighting our fighter, Shelley. But, he loves taking cheap shots at guys who don't fight, and fighting guys that he absolutely knows that he can beat.
Sad thing is this punk can play hockey pretty well. But, he obviously enjoys being a cheap shot artist, and obviously Trotz loves it as well.
I really don't know who from the Cuse can match up with him, but if there is someone there, get him up here for Fridays game.
Since we are not going to be in the play-offs, seeing that clown get his ass kicked would make my summer a happy one.
Had some time to let the game digest, and I've come to the conclusion that about 4or 5 players really played like they cared.
Nash- Of course. He's been out of his mind since being named Captain. We heard coming out of juniors that he put his London team on his back in the Memorial cup playoffs and took them for a ride. We're finally starting to see that leadership from him, I jus wish he could get some more followers.
Wilson- Great debut for the kid. He was everywhere. He was leading the rush, joining the rush, making plays downlow, and didn't look that bad on D. I jus hope he can keep it up.
Picard- Great game from Alex. He was everywhere, getting under the skin of all of the Preds. I jus wish he could put the scoring with it. I wonder if we could move Legein to center. Picard-Legein-Boll, now that would be an awesome line!
Klesla- I thought he had another great game. -2 on the night, but not his fault from what I could see. Had 4 shots on goal and 3 hits. A couple of turnovers, however, but I still thought he played well overall.
Rome- His usual self. If our young D keeps playing like this, we're going to have some great battles in training camp next year.
Hopefully more players care tonight. Puckrakers says we could be mathematically eliminated after tonight, though, so I doubt it. Hitch said after one game that we're going to find out who just goes through the motions and who still cares, I hope GMSH is taking notes.

From what I've heard, Konopka could. I don't know if Cannibal Tootoo would fight him or not, but I think Z deserves a chance. Everyone says that he's been playing his heart out in Syracuse, why not give him a chance to play a game with the big club and kick someone's ass? Syracuse does play Friday, but you Crunch fans wouldn't mind if we borrowed him for one game to kick some ass would you?

The only issue is that someone has to get hurt or sick in order to bring him up. I hope Vyborny comes down with something quick!

Konopka just recovered from a broken hand, and he's a strong leader that they really need for their playoff run in Syracuse. Not much to justify the risk just to beat the tar out of The Little Cannibal -- that is if TLC would even have the guts to dance w/Konopka in the first place.
First let's assume somebody comes down with the "flu" this week so Konopka can bee called up. It has been going around the locker room you know. I want Crazy K to abosolutely DESTROY either Arnott, Durmont or both. But don't stop there. Right after the destruction, I want him to skate by the Preds bench, point at Tootoo and then flap his arms like the chicken dance. The punk will either have to go with Crazy K or admit to his teammates he really is a chicken sh**. I would give him huge minutes too. After all, it's not about the win at this point, it's about beating them into submission and sending a message.
We need to buy our guys some thick black framed glasses taped in the middle for the Nashville game Friday night
And finish out the season as if channeling the Hanson Brothers....probably wouldn't get any more points but it'd sure as 'ell be alot more entertaining than these last couple of games, I didn't even protest when the missus turned the channel over to Food Network last night after the second goal against
