If this is any incentive to try "to bust your head"... I went to the Bruins game last Saturday. Sat in Greys, so like $50 a ticket.

There were 2 guys from Ottawa sitting next to us, we started talking to them... we asked how they got tickets, they said they paid a scalper $160. I said that seems fair, about going rate at $80 a seat. They replied "No, $160 a ticket." Apparently the cheapest they could find online was $140 so they decided to take a chance and just show up, and ended up paying even more. And that's for a regular season game.

Tickets for Round 1 are on sale THIS SATURDAY AT NOON, not on April 5th.

It will again work with the bracelet lottery, which you can get at the Bell Center on Friday or Saturday.

You can also buy a pair of tickets to one home game Thursday morning at 10 am if you also buy a CCM jersey and a 4"x8" personalized brick in the Centennial plaza. $300 for the package with tickets in the Molson Ex zone, $400 for whites. Seemingly you can buy this via phone/admission.com or at the Bell Centre (first come first serve).

For the rest of the tickets it looks like it's just round 1 on sale this Saturday and the limit is 4 tickets per person across all opening round games.

1 HOME pre sale option 1
2 HOME pre sale option 2
3 AWAY
4 AWAY
5 HOME ??
6 AWAY
7 HOME ??

so if i understand correctly, the pre sale codes get access to those 2 games. what about the other ones! is that gonna me majority the ppl that buy from online/at bell center?

seems like the pre sale guys just get an advance on getting tickets, but only for one game? thats kinda lame imo

**this is of course assuming they have home ice advnatage

I've never done that before, is it a good method of getting tickets..or is it easier to just try and get it on Admission?

So for purchasing at the Bell Centre, do you have to be there at noon on Saturday? Or do you just need a bracelet and then they call you? I'm so confused...

Mitch

People with access to the presale could only buy tickets to games 1 and 2 for the first round, yes, but we were also able to buy tickets to one game in each of round 2, 3 and 4 (depending on if they get there of course).

That's the best way to do it. It reminds me phone registration at Vanier though.

I was looking at the Bell Centre calendar, it appears there is a concert there Friday Apr 11 and Sat Apr 12... is there any chance of the Sat concert being moved or is it a good assumption that Home Game 1 will be Wed 9th or Thurs 10th & Game 2 on Sunday 13th?

Good catch. If we have home ice, I'd expect Thursday - Sunday.

A little chutzpah from Habs:single game playoff tickets come with brick and sweater

Read below the offer just e-mailed to me by the Habs and Reseau Admission.

Basically, if you want single game tickets for 1 game in the 1st round, you must buy a brick in the new Centennial Plaza AND a Habs sweater as part of a package (“forfait”).

If you pick the 3rd game in Mtl and the series ends faster, you must keep the brick and sweater and only get your $$$ back for the tickets portion!

A little over the top, in my humble opinion!

Here’s the ad:

Mercredi 26 mars 2008

Thats only for the 'forfait du partisan' though. I'm thinking regular solo tickets will be sold as well, with no forfait or anything like that, no?

I hope thats just some kind of promotional offer or something. I doubt they can sell out the entire building while forcing extra merchandise on the buyers(thought the hype from potentially finishing 1st might make it possible)
