A very good game for Lee , the guy as a good set of hands, good skating, great hockey sense but like another poster was saying it's gonna be fun to see how he reacte playing agains a bigger team who forecheck a lot and hit him to hurt ,but he is lot better than Richardson. The biggest mistake Murray did is trading Joe Corvo ,one of the most underated Def in the league.Last year in the playoffs Corvo was by far the best defenseman of Ottawa ,now look what is doing in Caroline ,since he play there Hurricanes seems unbeatable .Last 10 games 8-1-1 ,Corvo in 18 games: 6 goals 10 pass +7 .

SilverSeven isn't big on Reds but neither is anyone. I would take Chara over him anyday but that's hockey. Things certainly haven't been bright on D or in Goal this year but Lee is a definite opportunity for such. Great game hopefully he continues this tonight, and into the playoffs, very cool and collected.

No, he wasn't. He had one big goal, but other than that, he was shielded against the other teams 3rd and 4th line forwards. He was solid, but wasn't even close to being the best defenseman.

Murray has said Lee will play in the playoffs, which should indicate that this has been planned for a while, and not after one game. The only reason Lee wasn't up earlier is because of an injury that kept him out for a month.

The 2005 top-10, outside of Sid, Jack, and Carey, is quickly becoming a forgotten group. Granted their collective development has been slower than normal, but it's too bad that they aren't talked about as much.

And a couple players outside the top 10 have become a helluva lot better than most inside the top 10.

See Kopitar and Stasny.
