Gainey's money margin

Hi there, I was hoping to find a thread about it, but either the topic itself is disseminated among the boad, or I am an horrible forum-fisher.

Anyway, I would like to know those:

1) Who in the Canadian team has it's contract ending this season?
2) With those ending contracts, how much money do we have free to buy ourselves new players?
3) Who, in the NHL, is having their contract ending this season?


If I remember right, I heard a lot that Gainey had a lot of margin to buy ourselves some nice players.

According to this site, we have 31.822 M tied up in 15 players.

Streit, Briser, Ryder, Smoke are all UFAs.
Halak, Gorges, Obie, Laps, Grabs, Old Kosty all RFA.

A good situation, with the only notable RFA raise going to Kostitsyn. We won't be buying UFAs on more than one-year deals with Komi a UFA next season and Pleks and Higgy RFAs.
