Streit and Koivu sitting.

http://www.cyberpresse.ca/article/20.../1002/CPSPORTS

I hope they're both okay and being rested as precautions.

If Brisebois is in, then who's is out on D ? No one deserves to sit. Maybe they want to give some rest to Markov too.
Maybe Bouillon, smaller guy who plays a banging style, don't want him to fall to pieces like Begin.

It seems like it will be Streit (minor injury ?). As for Bouillon, I prefer him over any 6'4'' softie d-man in the league.

Grabs can handle the second-line duty for a game, no problem...

As for Brisebois, he can't do much worst DEFENSIVELY than Streit last game...

I think Dandy will play his heart out tonight trying to get a spot for the playoffs...

I still smell victory!

Hopefully tonight's lineup

AK46-Pleks-AK27
Higgins-Grabs-SK
Begin-Smoke-Ryder
Dandy-Lappy-Kosto

I'm sure if it was a playoff game tonight then both Koivu and Streit would be playing. It's a nice luxury to get a chance to give banged up guys the night off

Oh I forgot about that. I wonder if they put on the C again.

If so Kovalev is going to run amok.

THANK YOU GRABO

Surely you are not dumb enough to actually call Koivu who has 3x the skills of Grabovski, who has about 10 points less then a Plekanec playing on the first line, on the first PP unit, with two wingers that have 80 points and 60 points... a < 4th liner > while he (Koivu) plays with Ryder ( 30 points) and Kostytsin (26 points) because i might get pretty pissy at you.

I read somewhere this morning that Alexander Perezhogin would sign with the Habs and play tonight alongside SK and and Grabo while Higgins would play on the 3rd line with Ryder and Smolinski while Bégin and Kostopoulos would take a night off. So i guess Dandy, Lapierre and Streit on the 4th line.

To say the truth that was a lie.

2 yrs ago I would have panicked but now with the kids doing so well we can manage without Koivu for a game or two.

I'm glad you typed this, because I was totally fooled.

I just hope that Kovalev won't be put in a clinic!!!

I fear cheapshots till the end of the season on our best player. Imagine us without Kovy in the playoffs...

I don't think he was saying anything about Koivu at all, just that it's nice to have a spare part who could actually fill the role as opposed to a grinder like in the past.
I could be wrong!
