Beaulieu and Girgensons are going to have to battle it out for the #28 jersey. Ironically, Jason Botterill also wore #28 during his time with Buffalo.

It won't be NB. The common and most likely thing is, NB will pick another number. What was his number in juniors?

28 at Saint John as well

I was kidding about the battle, but I'm sure they'll talk about it at least before NB picks something else. He wore #8 for Hamilton during his time there when Aaron Palushaj already had #28.

He can't be #82 either, though I kept hoping Marcus would switch each time #17 was available.

With the Sabres trading for him and leaving Carrier unprotected, that could make an interesting "caption this" photo....especially with the look on Carrier's face.

It's not nitpicking, if you understand language there is a massive difference between "stuff he never looked into" which is what you actually wrote. Vs what I'm supposed to guess you meant, "he didn't make that deal".

So am I supposed to guess what you mean, or take your words as to what they actually mean or just ignore your floundering as you crap on the old gm in support of the new gm.

You are asking a lot when you ask some people to type what they mean. And mean what they type.

Bowl-you... ha!

Now I can stop butchering his name while discussing the trade with my girlfriend.

"Be-aye-uh-lulu.
"Bue-ah-lea-you-shanene or whatever."

I've been saying Byoo-Loo for so long it's going to take several games to get it right.

It would be so awesome if this worked out as our version of Justin Schultz.

Gotta admit... I'm kind of giddy about our defense.
