Next Season:

Tomas Plekanec - 32G/50A/82PTS
Alex Kovalev - 26G/45A/71PTS
Andrei Kostitsyn - 35G/35A/70PTS
Sergei Kostitsyn - 20G/35A/55PTS

Just my stupid predictions, it'll be fun to see how it goes next year.

My predictions would be very similar, so I'll just say:
+1

Server error of some type.... I'm gonna put it up for the admins to look at, so its not part of some bigger problem.

LOL to all the people who said Christopher Higgins...

And 40 goals scorer ?!

Talk about overrating...

Shall I go and find your posts where you called Andre Kostitsyn a bust, or where you said Price wasn't ready for the NHL this year? What about those gems of wisdom about how pivotal Havlat was to the Senator's success?

I expect a slight drop in production for Pleks, between 60-65 pts. I also expect posters to jump on his throat for no good reason.

Wow, this thread sure has a lot of views.

Anyways, I think the best bet is Andrei Kostitsyn.

Imo Higgins will be 30-goal-scorer at best. He just doesn't have the touch and the shot. I'm gladly wrong with this one.

I don't know how to make a poll on the Habs forum so, sorry about that.

Why have you put Latendresse in there? Hes just your usual grinder....

I'd say a tie between Plex and A. Kost

With a fantastic set of hands. Do you know why this guy was talked about being picked in the 1st round of a very deep 2005 draft?

Honest to Pete.

I can dig up an article on hf before the 2004 draft took place where it said Latendresse might be a potential #2 after Crosby. He had a great 16 year old season in the Q.

Plekanec is seriously overrated.

Kovalev's jockstrap > Plekanec

I wouldn't expect more than 70 pts from him.

They also said Gilbert Brule was the next great thing. Can you remind me what he's up to right now?

Latendresse will never score over 80 pts. Mark my words.

I think that if Plekanec consistently puts up 65-70 points a year, the Habs will be very glad that they have such a high quality C on their hands.

As to the jockstrap comment, can you explain, I don't get it ? I'm thinking this may be a joke but in that my lips didn't have that twitchy upturn thing happen that usually does when something witty has been said, I can't be sure.

Wow, buddy you sure have something against Plekanec. How can he be overrated when he isn't even very hyped? As far as I'm concerned, hes the best forward on this team. I don't think it is out of the question at all that he can reach the 80 point plateau. You act like that 10 points is the grand canyon or something, is there much of a difference from 70 to 80? You say he may get 70, but you can't admit that he could possibly get 80? Doesn't really make much sense to me. Plekanec has improved drastically before our eyes in the last two years. He has become the best center on our team, one of the most intelligent players for sure, he is a great playmaker, reads the play so well, is a great forechecker, is excellent in his own zone and on the penalty kill and can score. I wouldn't be suprised to see him achieve 80 points next season.

Average shot, above average vision and passing. Good skater. But I think Kovalev IS the reason why Plekanec is doing so well this season. I don't expect him to be better than Koivu. So an excellent 2nd line center or a good 1st line center.
