This is the team that was ranked by experts to finish anywhere from 10th -15th in the conference.... We're fighting for first....

This is the team who's number 1 strength last year was the PP, it was supposed to die after the loss of Souray.... Look whos first in PP percentage.

This is the team that was told give up on the division when the senators opened the season 15-2. Fight for 2nd place in the NE, 4th in the conference.... We now need one point to clinch the division title.

This is the team that was supposed to collapse after their loss on Dec 23rd.... We've only gotten better.

This is the team that was supposedly in big trouble when we didn't get Hossa.... We are challenging for most goals in the league

This is the team that would go nowhere without their number 1 goalie when he was traded to Washington.... We were 5th that day, we are 2nd now.... Price is up to the challenge.

This is the team whose defence was supposed to collapse after the injury to Komisarek.... we are 4-1 without him.

This is the team who is now gonna lose without their captain in the first round..... I say its just another challenge....

Wait...Pierre et Yvon sang don't stop believing together?

We may not have Koivu to start...but there are still plenty of reasons to believe:

- CAREY PRICE! Goaltending is EVERYTHING in the post-season and I have zero doubt our franchise will give us a great chance.

- We have the best top 3 on defence in the conference and players such as Gorges, Bouillon, O'Byrne, Streit, etc are solid secondary pieces on a D.

- Markov-Komisarek can shut down ANY line in this conference.

- Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Kovalev is one of the best lines in the East.

- Kovalev is a playoff warrior.

- Our PK has really improved the last few weeks.

- The best PP in the game.

- Plenty of secondary scorers.

- We will have home ice advantage for the first 2 rounds, baring a major collapse in the final week.

- Carbo playing 4 lines the whole season HAS to mean our team has more gas left in the tank then several others.

- If we ever fall behind in round 1, Koivu's return is likely just around the corner, ready to return after having several weeks off to recharge his batteries.

I freakin' believe.

I was peacefully searching for something to listen to when i heard the familiar voice of Pierre, then the animator said just sing a song, and the actual song started and pierre and yvon sang along.

After the song they said, this is the Habs song since the trade deadline

well his comment that we were losing in the first round did get me thinking about this thread.... It was inspired by him... but not anti-him.
