The Habs are Underachievers

Look at our schedule, we have lost a lot of games that we clearly should have won.. This team is going to be scary next year.

We've lost to Columbus, STL, Toronto, threw away a lead against WSH and NYR.

We should be where Detroit is, next year will be better.

NVM overachieving, we are playing below our potential.

I disagree. Everything went well for us this year. We are a good team and we'll get better with years. But this year, we'll have a hard time going far in the playoffs imo.

But there's examples of games in which they should have lost and didn't, i.e. the 6-5 Rags comeback. It goes both ways and we can say this about every team in the NHL.

I think if you look at Detroit's losses you would be quite surprised to see that the majority of them came against weak division rivals in Columbus, Nashville, St. Louis and Chicago.

The weaker teams are sometimes the hardest to play against, can't get up for the game for some reason or you under estimate the skill of your opponent.

Montreal played over there head no doubt this year though in alot of games, we won a bunch we shouldnt.

If we make the playoffs next season in the 3rd to 6th place I would say thats about right, and to be honnest I wouldnt be that surprised if we didnt make them at all, anything can happen.

You from outside of Montreal by any chance..?

Do you get offended if I say the word "No-Dicks"???

Montreal didn't play over its head this year, that's ridiculous. In 2001-2002 they played over their heads.

Agree.

We had a good season but next year will be tougher as everyone must continue to improve and not stagnate or regress.

I disagree, we didn't play bad vs the NYR that game.
But it is true, in some games we shouldn't have won..it goes both ways no doubt.

Fixed!

This year is a team effort all the way, its no fluke what so ever. We did get lucky until now on the injury front however, that no doubt has put us up a little higher then we would be normally I think.

Exactly. Number of points we stole (NJ, NYR, Buffalo, Was, etc...) cancel out with the games that we lost but should've won.
